Since we were in negotiation, I experimented the following:  On March 30, I used raw tap water to fill 5 gallon bucket & added nutes as described before. Adjusted the Ph at 6.0 that raised 7.2 after 24 hours interval.  On March 30, I also had reserved BOILED water in other bucket & on the boiling date its PH was 8.4. For onward three or four days I lowered the PH again & again by diluted sulfuric acid. I observed that its buffering capacity is being reduced by the time. I reserved it to use it to top up water level of my 5 gallon bucket. I used ½ liter water daily to top up my 5 gallon bucket.  Ph level of my 5 gallon bucket to feed cucumber & bitter gourd seedlings is going very stable now.  On April 2, Ph was adjusted at 6.0 that raised 6.6 after 24 hours.  On April 3, Ph was adjusted at 6.1 that raised 6.5 after 24 hours.  On April 4, Ph was adjusted at 6.2 that raised 6.4 after 24 hours. (No ph down was used but water added)  On April 5, Ph was adjusted at 6.4 that raised 6.6 after 24 hours. There seems to be very much stable ph & no more fluctuation now. ItÂs very hot summer going now. Plz comment over the situation I will proceed with your newly recommended concentrations very soon. My proposed feeding timetable will be as under: On day one, April 2, (FRIDAY) the raw tap water & nutes were added to the 5 gallon reservoir. That water will last for 21 days & will daily be refilled with reserved boiled water to the point marked. This all will last for day one to six. On day seven, APRIL 9 (FRIDAY) one more nutes lot will be added to same water & the water be refilled with tap water to the point marked. This all will last for days eight to thirteen. On day fourteen, APRIL 16 (FRIDAY) one more lot of nutes will be added same water will be topped up. This all will last for days fifteen to twenty. Same will be the plan for next 21 days. (Means it will start all over again with all newly picked water & new nutes on April 23 (FRIDAY). Awaiting comments. Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards Azee.

I think it's a mixed bag. Some love them. Some hate them...mostly seems to be those who have had a catastrophic failure who hate them. Personally, my family has had had a leak happen at the dishwasher...I find the convenience of having a dishwasher worth the potential leak issue. I feel the same way about an in-door icemaker. We have the Kenmore Elite (has the same slim-in-door icemaker that you were describing). We've only had the icemaker running for a few months now and so far, I'm rather happy with it. A few little things that are slight annoyances - I wish that the ice cubes were just a bit larger. The formed ice cubes sometimes stick together, so you have to take out the ice hopper and break up the ice - nothing major and certainly not all the time, but an inconvenience to an extent - if you hope to never need to open the door to get ice, ours hasn't proven to be that way. But again, this has only happened a few times in the months that we've been using it. And if you are a very heavy ice-using family, the ice maker may not make enough ice for your needs. There's two of us in our family, and there's always plenty of ice for us (I'm a "light-ice" user and my DH is moderate. I would expect that it could supply our ice needs two times over without issue if necessary.

I have well water, a "whole house filter" and an Icon fridge with a filter. My previous house had well water and a GE fridge with no filter, but we had a Culligan reverse osmosis water filtration system. As far as water/ice quality, I've noticed almost no difference from city water - except that well water tastes less "chemically" than my city water did. It is really a water quality issue. Once your well is up and running, you will be able to have the water tested and go from there regarding filters and such. Our new house happens to have a very deep well - over 600 feet down - and has excellent quality water - clear, no iron, low residue so we have great results from any tap. The other issue is water pressure. You want to make sure you will have adequate water pressure for an ice maker/water dispenser (this should really be no problem). Enjoy your well.

I went to Pacific Sales, the local appliance specialist store in my area, with my measurements this weekend and it was kind of a mess. They had all these fridges but with no measurements about their dimensions. So, I approached one of their sales staff with my measurements for help, hoping they could narrow down my search to the fridges that would fit. Instead, the salesman said I should look around at all the fridges, find one that I liked, and then they'd tell me if it fit or not. Instead of looking at all the fridges, shouldn't I just look at the ones that fit? Anyways, I'd find one that I'd like and then have to ask that salesman to measure it because I didn't bring along a tape measure. Finally, I found one that he said would fit. Only, I later learned it didn't fit because it was too tall since he didn't measure the fridge hinges on top. I know I'm probably making this harder than it needs to be, but I'm just worried about buying a fridge that will turn out not to fit or something. I have to buy a fridge in the next couple of days, and I'm afraid I'm rushing into buying one and making a stupid mistake with the dimensions or something silly like that.
