shower head, hand held and tub spout
Comments (9)Although, we are re-doing a bathtub/shower, and I am replacing it with showerhead, handshower and tub spout, and had to get all the pieces separately (didn't care for the Symmons styles). We are going to use a delta pressure balanced valve (but it has separate handles on one valve, one for water volume and one for temperature), and then a diverter (to go to either tub, shower, or handheld). The rest of the parts are going to be Grohe, but they are all from different style lines (yeah, it sounds like Frankenstein but I don't think it will look that bad)....See MoreShower head with sepeate hand held
Comments (3)I'm getting these from Jaclo: http://www.jaclo.com/detail/7-12-thermostatic-valve - Which will control the temperature, and can keep it set where you want it. And two (2) of these : http://www.jaclo.com/detail/1282-12-exacto-volume-control-valve - One for the shower head, and one for the handheld shower on a bar. There are many various styles of trim that can be used on these valves. Look at the Jaclo website. http://www.jaclo.com/...See MoreSuggestions for new shower head w/hand held sprayer
Comments (0)Looking at a house with the Master Bath shower recently redone with a rain head shower from the ceiling.I want to add a standard shower head from the wall with a hand held sprayer, both adjustable. It already has a thermostatic valve control. Would prefer minimal holes to drill with the new marble. Would have access to the plumbing through a closet. Any suggestions? All info greatly appreciated!...See Moreretrofit hand held shower directly in place of shower head arm
Comments (2)I don't see why you couldn't connect your hose directly to the shower arm without a diverter. I think the connections are all pretty standard. Shower arm, shower head, shower hose, and diverter all use the same screw in type connection. Use a good teflon tape (I like the thicker ones, not the thin white ones) and it should be water tight. Watch a youtube video on how to wrap the teflon tape to be sure you go in the right direction. If there is a rubber washer some times you don't need the teflon tape. You might just want to get a longer shower hose. This one is 8ft. 8 ft shower hose They make them even longer. Longer shower hose If you need the whole assembly, this one comes with the 8 ft shower hose. We buy this set-up and then put our own rainfall shower head on it but since you don't need the shower head you could just use the wand with the diverter always set to the hose. It has 3 pressure settings. We use the highest pressure for washing our dogs and the extra hose length comes in handy. It also provides a nice spa like experience for muscle massage. waterpik with hand held...See MoreJAN MOYER
