Does anyone's corn look like this? LOL
Comments (4)A couple of years ago, Campbell's had a tomato seed giveaway. The web site had animated tomato plants which grew vertically by stretching the bottom portion of the plant (never any new leaves or foliage at the top of the stems). I have mercifully forgotten what unnatural characteristics the animated fruit had. They grew singly rather than in clusters, but there was something else ... yes: they hung from the leaf-stems. Apparently no one at Campbell's or their ad agency had ever seen an actual tomato plant, or even knew where to look for photos. Or, come to think of it, had any idea how any plants or trees grow. The last I'd heard, no one's free seeds had sprouted. Someone suggested that having been shipped without any padding, the seeds had been crushed by postal machinery....See MoreDoes this weed look like a salvia to anyone?
Comments (3)That's it! Wow, y'all really good. Thanks for that. I would have never guessed in a million years. http://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/weeds/plants/beefsteak.htm "However, it does resemble some introduced Coleus cultivars with dark burgundy foliage"- that was my second guess, a coleus. I did rub it after you asked, it has a lemony basil fragrance. It's quite hairy though, not sure if I would want to eat it. So it's an annual. There's no way it would flower in time to produce seed, guess I need to bring it in this winter?...See Morexpost...does anyone know a tile that actually looks like this?
Comments (2)You might try searching and/or posting in kitchens as well. I've seen a few pictures of glass penny rounds there. Someone may have run across something like this. It looks quite lovely....See Moredoes anyone know a tile that actually looks like this?
Comments (7)Agree with MTN. I've seen a full sized sample of this tile in the store, and it looked the same as the online picture (but sparkly), but they're often more careful to get the full range of colors in the sample than the correct distribution. I ordered my glass mosaic based on the samples and ended up with all the same colors but many more mediums than lights and darks. Since I was using them individually, I also handled every tile sheet by sheet as I was separating them. Just from box to box the distribution on the sheets was different, so I think, for mine, at least, each batch is a bit different, and it's probably a pretty random process which tile lands where....See MoreLaLennoxa 6a/b Hamilton ON
