I got it... they are however a different style of home is all... that is to some degree. More modern in appearance. I'd personally go with something similar in colors as above meaning windows, door, fascia. I do think the garage and front door can be the same.. I don't think it, but know it. I would not put a red, nor yellow or other door on this home. The neighborhood is not conducive to that and I think too much white such as the garages and front door would not look right either. The colors I posted on the house above that is not the same style of your own is similar to what I'd do with a shade of white or a white that leans a pinch gray in gloomy or dim light such as Aesthetic White by Sherwin Williams. In bright light it will appear white though. It's an inspiration photo of colors only. A bit of freshness using a shade of white.

OP, sorry for potentially derailing your thread but I have a question I really wanted to ask for a while. I have a disclaimer first. I do not have any education in architecture and I am not a visual artist of any kind so I do not have trained eye for those things. Here is the question: why in order to have well designed and attractive house we need to hide garage doors ( and televisions, and refrigerators, etc.). Why "there is nothing attractive about garage doors"? I get it if you are building house that recreates architectural style from an era when those things did not exists. But for more modern styles, what's wrong with them? Trying to think this through concerning the fading. Coastal Washington so not hot-hot, but the house and garage do face W. When DH is home, his door is often raised (garage on his side open). Mine rarely is - I close it when I leave and when I drive in. I see no difference in the color of the doors in the 9 years we've lived here. They wouldn't have salt, and don't water spot. What I notice on them occasionally is pollen in Spring. It's there, window sills and trim, all over with the dark chocolate brown house, doors, windows. I wouldn't compare it to a black car in this rainy climate. I loved mine and it was always clean, but I didn't wash it. DH did, and he would complain. :)
