Linear storm drain in front of garage of redo driveway?

When it rains a lot, water enters the garage from my concrete driveway. Driveway is flat in front of the garage and this causes the issue. see picture below. I just hired a landscape company for improving all the front/back/side yard (new trees, plants, sod etc) but they said I should first find someone who solves the drainage problem, they do not handle that. Questions:

1) Would you suggest linear Storm drain in front of garage with pipe going to the main in the street or redo driveway trying to slope it toward the street?

2) There seem to be gradient between garage door and street. By eye I would say 8 inches or so. I have about 70 feet of driveway. Will the slope be enough? What is the best way to measure the gradient?

3) I am concerned that if I change the driveway gradient I will need something to hold the dirt/grass on the part closer to the driveway. Maybe some edging would do it but it might look ugly. Ideas?
