Looking for idea for a softening the windows area with a treatment
Hello!
I have an irregular shaped bedroom with slanted, round wall and round bed with no headboard (no round headboard available and wall curve so no room).
It all feels a bit bare. We recently painted a soft peach color and got a nightstand with wicker (right side, the left one is still in mail). My light fixture is jute with white. Also lot of white glossy laminate from the 80s.
Now I want to soften the windows (used to be ancient sliding shades but I removed them as they blocked the much needed light and were really clunky). I am not looking for shades ideas in this case as we have barely any sun. But I want to give the surrounding frames some softness. Maybe waterfall of fabric from one corner down to another and pin it. We floated idea of mosquito net but that is really too much.
My ideas steer towards pompoms, texture, sheer, lace, mosquito mesh, plush, romantic, laid back (not necessarily patterned).
Any ideas welcome!

Obviously none of these are exactly like yours, just showing how others worked with challenging windows and skylights:
You’d need to stop one like this at the bottom rod with no excess fabric hanging down, as you don’t have any flat wall area underneath:
