bathroom chandelier ideas?
Hi friends- thank you all for your help so far- I am giving my primary bathroom a facelift. I know the tile isn’t the prettiest (much more terra cotta colored in person) but we can’t afford a full remodel right now. We are changing the sconces for classic shaded ones, and awaiting installation of a white quartz countertop and wall repair behind the vanity. I would like to get rid of this VERY rusty fan that we never use. Id like a light fixture instead. A lot of the ones I’m seeing say they’re for “dry” environments. What can I put here that’s safe for a bathroom? This does not hang over the tub FYI. I was thinking a bubble chandelier could be cute. Thanks!!

Comments (30)My parents house is like that, but there’s a wall with a wide doorway into the area with the vanity, so it’s open but also easy to close off by just putting a curtain rail up. It’s also oriented to the room such that if you only use enough light at the vanity to wash your hands for a midnight potty run, it really isn’t enough to bother someone in the bed if you place the bed sensibly. Comments (19)The "regular" bath layout that jensbride posted first is very similar to what our DD & DS shared for years and worked very well. The door, however, was a pocket style and placed directly across from the toilet. This allowed the vanity to be scooted around the corner to take up the whole wall. It leaves the toilet close to the tub, but with lots of elbow room. Our kids just learned to keep the door partially closed when the bath wasn't in use due to the "view"....See MoreBathroom dilemma. 2 months agoI think @ffplams is right. The vanity and terracotta floors lean rustic. These might work too.
I have the first one in my farmhouse.
