@chisue I’ve been ordering from Factor while my kitchen is undergoing renovation. In general, they have a decent menu selection and the food is of acceptable quality, texture and flavor. It’s not extraordinary, but it’s edible. Since there’s only me, I order the 4-meal plan, then add on a breakfast or two as I often prefer the breakfast egg-based choices to some of the entree choices. I don’t eat red meat and have to avoid spinach. Even so, I can usually find at least four entrees that interest me. I have ”earned” the opportunity to offer a discounted trial to others. If you will PM your email, I’ll send you the offer. You can decide if you want to pursue it or not. The only thing you have to be careful of is to suspend the following week’s delivery right away, so you don’t get charged before you know if you are interested in ordering again. BTW, Factor’s customer service has been very responsive any time I’ve had an issue.

Chisue, I've looked at a few and find the same as you mention, very few that are calorie dense. I think I'd call customer service and see if an honest talk with their representative could follow before beginning.

My neighbor ordered Factor but could not keep up with eating the meals due to her schedule away from home, so several ended up at my house. I agree with fun2Bhere: acceptable quality, texture and flavor, not extraordinary. I would not order it unless I needed it and had no other options.

The one I would love to try but it's so pricy is Tovala. The ads make the food look delicious.

We were gifted with Healthy is the WAY. . WE were pleased wthe the meals.

Tried Chef Unity a couple years ago. The food was pretty good, but after a few months it got kind of repetitive. There wasn't much of a refresh rate on the meals. At the time you could get just four meals, but it was pretty pricy- it didn't get more cost effective till it was more like 8-10 meals a week. And that was just too much for the two of us. We were just eating as dinners and not multiple times a day.

It was nice for a shorter term thing. Mom visited during that time and it was fun trying different stuff and it was super easy to do dinner after work. But I think we only had the service for around six months before canceling.

I think I was envisioning some fabulous cuisine that would magically appear on my table from a local restaurant's kitchen -- and not cost more than it would la cart AT the restaurant. "Dine Out At Home" Ha-ha.

@chisue My parents order from one of their local restaurants quite often and delivery is available for a fee. Since their appetites are pretty small, they usually share one entree. Do you have a nearby restaurant whose food you love because I would bet they would deliver through DoorDash or UberEats or some delivery service.
