You need to be more specific with details. Carpet where? Is the color scheme for the entire first floor? What is on the kitchen floor? How many rooms and from what direction does the natural light come? What color are you painting woodwork and ceiling? From what I see above, the black cabinets are your inspiration and I think you could do better than what you are showing. Kitchen, consider just black and white. B.M Super White with the white counters. Move into the living room using B.M Palladian Blue on the walls; more white (maybe a white slipcovered in Sunbrella sofa); add touches of black and an accent color or two in your fabrics. There is a great carpet, brand name is Tuftex. It is a solution dyed nylon which will hold up to heavy traffic, etc. Great on stairs because it waterfalls nicely with no “smile”. It comes in lots of patterns/colors. But here is a way to use your gray, although darker than what you show.

Hi Nanke group. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it As the fire place color is ebony will the charcoal sectional go just fine with it? I am open to counter height dinning. If you have any recommendations please share the pictures. Does barstools and dinning chairs need to be of same color and material or it can different? I really like what you recommended but, I wanted some cushion for dinning and bar stools. Do you think the following would look good? Also if you have more recommendations for dinning, barstools then let me know.We just bought the them a week ago. But they look too off with dinning I am open to changing them. We just moved in and I am so confused how to align everything to go together. Also, I have this big space next to the fireplace which I want to decorate if you have any suggestions please share them. No one can help with colors on the net and what you are doing is like finding a necklace ( shutters) and looking for a dress (your whole exterior) to go with it . Choose the right white and ten choose shutter color it will make your life much easier
