Comments (24)YES!!! It worked! The YUCKIE couple is GONE! I was ever so happy about that. And...on her BIRTHDAY...how sad... I know the editing makes it difficult to know exactly what happens at the end...how close it really is, etc. But this one had me guessing the entire time. I think we all knew that the Father and Daughter team was in the lead the entire time. They got the first flight out of Japan which was just enough to make them first at every clue box and the first to the Pit stop. Rachel and TK came in second, even with the Speed Bump! Good for them. I like their attitude. After they ran through all the FireWorks and were on their way back to the train station, TK said something like, 'if we come in last at least we went out with a bang'. I think GrandPa is getting tired. His Grandson carries his back pack most of the time...nice boy! When they had to get to the tea house (?) and not many cab drivers knew how to get there, I thought they would be sunk...we all remember the Grandsons 'issues' with directions and finding his way... All three teams picked the 'earth' challenge which looked easy. If you can just set your mind to it, forget how much it's going to hurt your feet, get it over with, you're home free. At least they were not hot coals. What do you think made the difference? Do you think it was Matt and Jens decission to take the subway & bus to the park when the other teams took cabs or, was it the hissy fit Matt pitched between the subway and finding the bus? Did you notice how many people on the street around them were watching them fight? I felt badly for Matt after they lost. He cried and, she took that exact moment in time to analyze their relationship. But after all...it was HER BIRTHDAY! So, now we are down to the final. I think we all like the teams left. I hope next weeks show is two hours...I hate to see it come to an end. Do you think we will have another Amazing Race in the spring. I hope so. sooey...See MoreAmazing Race 12-30-07
Comments (19)Hi Kids, Well, as I said in my OP, I was disapointed in the ending. I thought the Goths were a good team but they sure messed up that U-turn. Even with that, it looked like they almost made it to the Pit Stop in time. They had a positive attitude and they like each other. They even made the most of their 'Speed Bump'! I hated to see them go. Nate and Jen are almost funny with all the complaining they do. I hope they are the next to go...but I've been saying that for a few weeks now. They both whine, yell and act like children. I hope they are not in the final three... I like the Grandfather and Grandson but I agree with Cameron, it would be nice to hear something insightful from one of them. But then again...they ARE both male. Father and Daughter are good but he is just AWFUL with the way he talks to her. I hope this is a learning experience for him...how could it not be when he sees himself on tape! TK and Rachael are OK but I don't see much strength in them. It was a good show last night but, we are getting down to the end...YIKES...it feels like we just started! Who do you think will be in the final three? Any talk about when the next Race will start? I hope we don't have to wait until next Fall. sooey...See MoreThe Amazing Race
Comments (8)I agree too. The 'celebrities' act fake and think they are all that. Regular people are much better!!! My daughter and I recently started watching the seasons starting at season one on Hulu. Not sure when we first started watching, but we've watched about 12 seasons so far and haven't caught up to where we fist watched it. Its still quite enjoyable years later. Once a season ends, she looks up the people in it, who got married, divorced, etc. Interesting, I saw on the news recently that the husband of the husband/wife dentist couple committed suicide....See More12/1 Don't forget Survivor!
Comments (12)Why not respect it on the show too? Diversity is the direction the network has decided to take. I think Jeff explained it well and why it is relevant to the real world. The show is a microcosm of society where people of a common race, culture or religion do band together. There have been many seasons where people banded together because of age or gender. Did it bother you when there were all girl or all boy alliances? Shan bonded with Ricard, a gay white male, first. She found common ground with Liana because of their gender, race, and love for their mothers. Notice how often the black players are the first to be voted off and now Shan, Liana, and Deshawn are being targeted. But not Ricard. The white players could've voted off Ricard, the biggest threat, but Xander said he trusted him more than Liana. This is the same Ricard who whispered to him "Play your idol." I think they just gave him the million bucks....See Moresushipup2
