Comments (44)Mindy et al, I got that tall blue pot I had my eye on. It might have been $200 marked down to 40 marked down to TEN DOLLARS. I also got a big metal/copper bucket marked down from at least 150 to $37.50 (I don't think she did the math right. I'll have to check in the morning. I had wanted something like a watering trough near the bees, and this might fill the bill. Or we can use it for logs. That magnificient green pot. I met the nice guy who works the floor. I told him what I wanted to pay for it and without my knowing it he called the ?manager? anyway a woman, and she no way was she going below $160. I think the problem is there was no pink marked down price, so it was 75 % off 699. I really don't want to pay that much because I know I won't move it in freezing weather, and it may break. I'm only willing to risk 100 or less. If anyone can talk them down to $100 or less, I'll take you to LaPatisserie for lunch or Quebrada in Arlington for a cake. Could also do Lakota for a dozen cookies. There's a challenge for the bargainers out there! I'll pay you back in cash and could even meet you at Mahoneys to load and transport pot. Mindy, I saw two "maroonish" pots (one upside down, the other on top) on the pallet, next to the sky blue tall. Are those the ones you are talking about? If there was a salmon pot in the "transition room" I missed it entirely. I'm not looking at your post right this second, but I thought you said it had some branches dispayed it it. I'll look again, maybe when I check to see if the christmas tree is marked down. I wasn't too offended by the look of its branches. But then I had pots on my mind. Comments (15)Oooo...it was a good one! I liked the team that was elimated but you are all right...they did it to themselves. They looked like nice guys and smart. I really, really like the two Drs'. I think they will be a good team...smart, fast and level headed. That watermelon really hit hard! What a surprise! That was a good challange. I didn't know what to think of those two but they did a good job and were able to laugh at themselves. Not bad. The dumb team...with all the ink...Oh My! They could not figure out about the flag, the boat or the country. They survived this leg but not by much. The Mother/Daughter team will be interesting to watch. What a story they brought to the show. Very different, that's for sure. I also like the Father/Son team. They will be fun to watch. They seem to work well together. So, we are off on another adventure around the world! Did I hear it correctly...8 elimation legs and 12 legs in all? So will the final be leg 12 or 13? Sooey who is wondering how many pair of undies they pack for such a trip....See MoreAmazing Race tonight
Comments (15)Amazing Race is the only "reality show" that I watch, the rest seem so stupid, contrived and banal. I'm a little disappointed that this show has in recent seasons has gone somewhat in the same direction as the other "reality shows" in choosing contestants seemingly based on how annoying and unlikable they are, especially when they choose contestants who were on one of these other shows. At the end of the episode at the close finish between three teams, I wished it had ended slightly differently, the "goat yoga" women were sniping at each other throughout, and grated on my nerves. The team that went home seemed positive, happy and upbeat and would likely have been more fun to watch....See More12/6 Survivor and Amazing Race
Comments (16)Dee chose Mama J over Austin by not going with his plan. I wonder how that sits with him now. I don't like Drew or Mama J so I hope Drew's big blow-up next week means one is leaving. Or they could stick together and just pick off Jake and Katurah......yawn. I'm tired of alliances where it's the only thing that gets some of them to the final three, and then the well-liked one wins. It's really turned me off the winners the last few seasons....See Moresushipup2
