I like Julie on Survivor and the brothers on TAR.

If they don't get rid of Julie she's going to win.

I don't think I watch Survivor closely enough to discern who deserves to win. I do know Jake won't and probably not Katurah. Usually the winner is part of the dominating group, if there is one, and also has won competitions and found idols and wheeled and dealed to get the outcome at tribal that they want. But does no one get credit for being the underdog and fighting their way to the end? I guess I don't see the difference in game play between Julie, Dee, and the two guys left (shows how much I pay attention that I don't remember their names!) I can see their faces but not their names. I'm trying to remember them without googling to stretch my brain. I knew one was a vowel and one a consonant but gave up after going through the alphabet three times. Drew and Austin. Does winning competitions really matter more than scheming and conniving? I guess we will see tonight! Also, in the past, does the jury vote soley on outwitting, outlasting and outplaying? Or does likability sway some votes?

As far as The Amazing Race, while Steve and Anna Leigh raced a good race, I was put off by her constant nagging at her dad. I am happy with the final three. I do think it would be great if the cute guy and his deaf father won. Why? Because they had an additional obstacle to deal with and they were really kind to each other and the other racers, from what I remember. I heard that the cute guy and the Irish dancer follow each other on Instagram! I don't think they have ever had a romance blossom on the amazing race, this could be a first!

No, all that matters is that you are in a tight alliance for protection and that the other players like you. It's no longer about who has competed hard or played a smart game.

Eileen, I think you are right. And it's too bad. I do think the jury contemplates competition wins and finding idols, but in the end they don't carry much weight. It was different in earlier seasons when they would vote for a "villain" because they outwitted, outlasted and outplayed. I read that some people do not think that the survivor winner, Gabler, deserved it. And won because he was going to donate the whole shebang to veterans. I applaud him for that but I think it swayed the jury.

I heard he just finished with the donations and did indeed donate the entire million dollars!

Hhhhhmmmm.....I wonder how Dee will fare after the blindside? An interesting accomplishment. The jury seemed to like the outcome of that vote.

The brothers ran a good race, I'm happy for them. Well, all three teams ran a good race actually. I was pretty sure it would come down to the beard and the brothers.

I agree about the dad and daughter team, I was worried each time that Steve may collapse from a heart attack!

I was really happy with ‘old school’ AR this season. That is what they called it and I really hope they stick to the format. Most of the racing teams really didn’t get into any huge arguments (a few did, and I chalk most of that up to the stress and fatigue of the race itself). The finale was great. The winners were smart and played smart all the way. But any one of those 3 teams could have won.

Austin will have to vote with Jake and Katurah to take out Dee or Julie if he wants to have any chance of winning. Hopefully he now realizes that Dee told Julie about his plan to oust her last week.

I want either woman to win.
