The outside is 19x19. A 9x12 goes under all the front legs of furniture. I moved the sofas back a bit but still away from walls :) I have downsized from a 6500 square foot house. Yes, furniture is closer together than my old family room, but it’s also comfy and cozy. I saw a photo from a pro who had the same setup and it looked great!! In reality, it’s not as tight as the photo makes it look. Thanks for sharing!

Omg this is amazing!!! How did you do that?? Also I was thinking of running the same fireplace tile up the wall where the white cabinet is behind the picture and placing floating shelves along it. Could u mock that up?

Check out Stanton Carpet. They make FABULOUS patterns that can be custom cut and bound for a size that you need. That suits your space. Go to your local carpet dealer…not a big box store…and ask to see their lines that can be custom bound. I found their price (because you pay per square foot, and for binding) was actually less than most carpets I could buy, except for hand made Persian styles.
