We grew "Lundy Lane" and I found it to be a very lovely mostly-yellow Pernetiana. Its' foliage is a very light-medium green, and very attractive. One caveat: of all the Pernetiana roses I've grown it suffered the most badly from blackspot. I have an organic rose garden and never sprayed it with anything other than Cornell. It continued to bloom c. 3 weeks later in Autumn than my other Pernetiana roses, which also endeared it to me. For comparison, these are healthier Pernetiana roses for our area, near Oakland, California. I never needed to spray theses with anything: "Duquesa de Penaranda" the healthiest of all Pernetiana roses in our area. The climbing form is fantastic!!! "Soliel d'Or" "President Herbert Hoover" the most fragrant of the Pernetiana roses to my nose. "Gruss an Coberg" "Mari Dot" a fabulous Dot rose but very small on her own roots, I'd love it on rootstock. Luxrosa

It looks like cherry to me, and it may not be stained. I have natural cherry furniture pieces that color. Cherry also gets darker than it is initially pretty rapidly. Here is a link that might be useful: Cabinet pictures.

I'm no design person, but I'm not sure about the door style planned for above the MW. It doesn't look as nice as the elongated glass one below it, so if its on a short upper cabinet, I think I would choose to go with the door of the base cabinets above the mw rather than have something compete with the glass doors that really should be the the focus. I think I prefer the chestnut color to tone down the orange undertone that seems more prominent in the pecan. I think the mixed color floor will be nicer with your perimeter cabinet choice whereas the gorgeous grey slate will be very cool toned against the warmth of the wood tone. With that floor, I would then go with the sea grass or harbor mist island (see grass seems best, but I would hesitate to commit to green, but since you love it....). But again I will reiterate that my preferences are based on my instinct rather than on any design expertise. It's a nice space. Good Luck!

It has magnetic latches for the right door, but none for the left door - why? At least 2 possibilities exist: The left door magnets are missing. 2. The doors had spring loaded hinges and the right one no longer works; magnetic latches were added.
