Interesting question! We need to find someone with a copy of the Combined Rose List to check on the "official" spelling for you. As far as the liquor itself is concerned, he general rule is that whiskies from Scotland and Canada are spelled "whisky," while those from Ireland are spelled "whiskey." Whiskies from the United States generally carry the "e" also, but not always. Since the cocktail known as a Whisky Mac uses Scotch, it probably SHOULD be spelled without the "e." Then again, the rose is German (bred by Tantau), so the original name might be completely different!

Depending on your model phone, you "address" the message by pulling from a "recently used" list, or you can type in the phone number, or you can bring up your list of phonebook/contact names and choose from the list. Then you put the cursor into the area where you enter the text and type out your message. If you have a phone with a "QWERTY" keyboard, you type it just as you would on a typewriter or computer keyboard. If you have a phone where you use the "number keypad," you have to press the "2" key three times before you'd get a "c" or the "3" key twice to get an "e," and so on. Usually pressing the "star" key brings up a selection of things like a period, comma, hyphen, question mark, etc. When you're done entering the text, you push the appropriate key/button to "Send."

Hello Snidely, Thank you for the reply. Having text msgs on MAC is easier if I need to cut/paste website links or edit msgs before sending/replying them. Yet you do bring up a valid point that keeping msgs on three devices wastes storage space on each of them. It may not be a best practice. Things are getting more strange. I noticed now text msgs synchronize between MAC and iPhone, but iPad is left out. I wonder if iCloud set up is messed up.... It seems I have to pay a visit to an Apple store.
