A view of Molokai from a Maui beach. I can't get past the fires. I have pics of the Banyan tree across the street from that pic of the old town burning the news keeps showing on the other computer. Can't bring myself to go dig it out. 2013

I love all the seasons! I can’t pick just one. When I think of my childhood I think of all the fun we had in winter. I love cold sunny winter days and full moon winter nights and the stillness in the air.💕 Hot, hot weather is my least favourite. It’s easy to dress warmly and enjoy the outdoors in the winter but there’s not much you can do outdoors when it’s too hot.

Sulfur butterfly just emerged. We managed to witness this happening once, and they just pop out all of a sudden, fully formed, unlike many other butterflies.

The Southern Cross, taken from California Lighthouse in Aruba. If you're having problems seeing it, there are four stars in the upper 1/3 of the photo - if you trace them, they make the shape of a kite.

The last major overseas trip that we took, 2017. This is the Zwinger Palace in Dresden, Germany that houses a wonderful art collection.

eden on one of our trips to the farm store. she was a social butterfly and loved interacting with anyone who wanted to pet her. this particular lady saw her and instantly wanted to give her a hug (i blacked out her face for privacy reasons). she told me she had a great dane when she was a young girl and it made her day to be able to get up and close and personal with one. eden was more than happy to oblige. 💖

@ ded - we had ours replaced in 2020 during the shutdown.

This sweet Arabian was the first to teach me about how to get along with sensitive, highly opinionated mares. Boy did she test me. :-) The mares that followed including the one I work with now, owe my patience, my feel and my ability to connect, to her. She and her herd had to be sold due to the pandemic shutdowns. Fortunately, a wonderful young lady bought her who is giving her the best.
