I wouldn't mix warm white and cool white. Stick with a soft, warm color and choose something only a little bit darker that harmonizes with your counters, using an off-white like BM Swiss Coffee or Dove Wing (not to be confused with White Dove).

IMO way to early to decide wall color . That and the backsplash are IMO best to the end when all other elements are in. I always wonder why people choose wood for cabinets then stain them to look like some other wood BTW the lighting needs to be addressed what I can see will not be enough .

I agree that you should use a neutral white but wait until the counters, floors, lighting, and cabinets are installed to pick a specific wall color. White paint can change color if it reflects what's around it and can change depending on the light

Chantilly Lace is a very bright white. While versatile, I don't know if it will be the right white for your kitchen. Look at Simply White and White Dove. Also, Soliel is a very yellow yellow. Is that what you had in the kitchen before demo? If so, then you know if you will like it. If it were me I would be choosing something more subdued. I like yellow - I had it in a couple rooms in my last house, but you can have too much of a good thing. With any intense color it's possible the color will overpower everything else in the room. Look at Man on the Moon or Pale Celery. I used Rich Cream and Standish White in my previous house.

Thanks, everyone, for giving me your thoughts to consider. Working full time means we have to start thinking about our choices and gathering information/samples/etc before the point at which the decision needs to be made. The kitchen had been wallpapered circa 1990. It was very blah and country farmhouse-y — not our style at all. We would have kept more and just updated if we could have, but the layout was awful and necessitated a clean sweep. (Seriously - there was no fridge!)

We are in the same boat - working and busy - and in our recent kitchen remodel while we picked out nearly everything based on samples beforehand, I did wait to pick paint until we had most everything in. I asked our contractor to let me know when he was a couple days out from needing the final decision. Since you can source paint onsite in most places, this worked out. It was also a real help because I did not end up using the wall paint I’d been planning from the outset based on samples next to the cabinets in the actual space.

But as a person who installed off-white warm white cabs and a mostly white countertop, I’d say don’t add a cool white into the mix in the wall. It can make your warm whites look too yellow. Our wall paint is slightly lighter than our cabinets, but still warm white and it seems to work.

Whichever color you choose will be greatly affected by the type of lighting you use. So, please keep that in mind while selecting.

Love the eucalyptus tile! I agree with others, stick with a warm white. In case it helps, we chose to match the wall color to the cabinet color (Shiloh Soft White). You can see photos here.
