We have been trying for 3 years to get our Craftmaster furniture repaired.We purchased the warranty and the recommended cleaning products. We had a claim where we needed to have a spot cleaned and the warranty company sent someone to look. She used scissors to cut pieces off of our sofa, which was coming apart naturally. Since then, there are now holes in the upholstery. We have sent photos and repeatedly called asking for new fabric and have been refused. When we went to Levin to buy new, they said our couches were so new and should have been great quality from that manufacturer and offered to give us contact info before they would let us buy new furniture. They were shocked and appalled that we were denied service after our experience. We will never recommend this brand again! I know this thread is really old, but can anyone comment on Franklin Furniture? Made in Houston, MS. We just purchased a sectional sofa from them with power recliners, lights, and massage/vibrating chairs. It will be delivered in 9 days and we have 30 days to return it for a refund. I'm usually a big researcher and am kind of freaking out now because I didn't do my homework and know nothing about Franklin. The salesman assured us it was a good quality, in line with Lazy Boy - but really, what is he going to say? This stuff is junk?? Can anyone put my mind at ease?

ugh.... we are just at this point now and realized that our new counter/breakfast bar is 12' with the sink cutout dead center. My wife is stuck on an undermount and we really wanted granite... we will, of course, be getting a few fabricators to bid it. But is it feasible to do the seam with a cutout at the seam? The front edge of the sink seems a bit vulnerable to me. Also the current layout has the dishwasher adjacent to the sink and I guess we'd need to get the cabinet built with a support at the seam. If we can seam at the sink it would be small, just the length of the front setback (breakfast bar transitions to countertop there)... how well does the bullnose normally line up on a seam? Do they polish it on-site? Are we better off getting used to NOT granite? The 12' counter is not negotiable in our design.

There's a lot of bicast and bonded leather on the market, and and leather from the "splits". That is all garbage to be avoided - you want top grain or it won't last. But if you can go $ 3K, then you are in the range.
