Paint Design Dilemma

Help me identify this paint color, I cannot chip the wall to match!

Hi

So I am in the middle of a renovation and my painter tried to chip the color and it came back as BM Gray Owl, and while lovely it is not the color at all. The color in this house a beautiful light gray with a green/seafoam shade. I am including photos if anyone can help me identify it. I know photos will obscure and alter color but this image is actually very close to the experience of being in the room.

In this second image you can see the gray owl on the left and the unidentified color on the right. I had thoughts it may be Healing Aloe of Silver

crest but they either seem to sage green or too blue. any help is appreciated.

I am trying to find a color closest to this to repaint. Any help is so appreciated. Thank you!

Your best shot at finding that color is possible with a bit of effort.

The easiest solution costs about $70.

You need to measure that color the same way a paint store can measure and match a color.

Get a Color Muse from Amazon. Download the app. Make sure the Illuminant setting is D65 and the Observer setting is 2 degree.

Take 5-7 scans from different areas.

Record the Lab values that pop up in the first window in the Color Mus app

Average each L, a, and b value. (can eyeball it)

Go to easyrgb.com >

Match color data to commercial colors

Choose CIE-L*ab from the first drop down menu

Enter your Lab values

Tap "Match"

A list of the closest paint colors in the easyrgb.com database will pop up.

The Color Muse app has a 'color match' feature.

I'd do both to get as much range possible for a match.

Your best bet is probably going to be taking the picture to your local dealer and matching it to a chip. The problem with computer monitors is that they will reproduce that picture in many different shades. Having said that, someone will probably post with the exact match! :) Ging

Be aware that liking a color in a few square inches of a painting, is very different from all the main rooms painted in this color. It will look much more intense over a large area. The color will also look very different depending on whether the windows face north/south/east/west, whether there are lots of windows or only a few, whether different light bulbs used in each room, and what colors are reflected from the furniture and flooring in the room. Be sure to do a sample board to be sure. She may decide that she likes that green hue, but that it only works on the wall if she reduces the saturation or brightness.

so we are buying a new bed. I'm thinking a cream tufted headboard and white bedding. Would agreeable grey or worldly gray or repose gray work with that? Or should I try a different color scheme?
