Are you putting gray siding on it? I like that color with white. Plant some bushes, paint, clean-up, and call it a day.

IMO split foyer houses similar to yours look best when they're all the same color, so I don't think black is a good idea for the bottom half. Black is too severe in this situation. Try a gray similar to the siding. It's OK if it is somewhat lighter or darker, but be careful with the undertones. The siding looks like it has a blue undertone, but it may look different in person, so don't take my word for it. You can always take a piece of siding to a paint store to have it color matched. I'm afraid the house will look top heavy if the bottom half is white.

I'm a bit confused. So the cream color brick is currently painted and if you were to paint it a different color you'd have to remove the current paint? You can't just paint over it?

The current color brick isn't the best match with the grey, but I think black will be way too harsh. I'd either live the current color brick and just plant some tall shrubs in front of it to distract from the color or I'd paint the brick the same color as the new siding.

paint the brick to compliment the siding, a gray as close as possible.

your Black and white accents as you like. let the new owners change it if they want to.

I would do black on the railing. White on the sidelight and white on all of the trim. You could do a color on the front door.

Who was the person who thought installing battleship gray Dutch Lap siding on a cream brick modern home was the right call? The vertical siding you had before was a better choice.

IMO the contractor is not a designer and painting brick IMO is the fastest way to devalue the house but what was thw reason for the gray siding did the contractor reccommned that too?

I was the person that made the decision to install siding, Flint is the color, over T-11 basically plywood siding that would need to be totally replaced and painted. Most panels were the originals from the construction in the early '70s The only brick on the house is what is seen in the front. For purposes of cost and resale value the best decision.

The brick got painted after a "free" paint job (court-ordered refund). All of the houses on my street are in the tan family with the exception of the house next door which has lighter gray siding and one farther down the street which is a darker gray. We picked a shade that was not in stark contrast to the neighboring house and lighter than the other. This is one of the larger houses on the street and I think the choice of gray will help it blend in more than stick out like a huge box. That opinion was based on looking at similar-sized houses and their color choices. One of the reasons why I wasn't keen on painting the brick black.

No matter, but acrylic paint is Never applied to brick unless you want a wall failure. Limewash or masonry paint can be used only‼️‼️‼️

pressure wash the brick & especially the stairs. Those might need to be painted.

Not sure I would bother to address the brick other than cleaning it.

Railings to be charcoal gray NOT black

Paint the garage door charcoal gray also.
