Need help decorating "unused" entry way!
Comments (7)What you have isn't bad. I like that your mirror echoes your arched window. The table seems a good width for the space. Maybe hang the mirror on the wall, add a taller buffet style lamp making it a bit more cozy and less objects. You could paint the table and also the back of your door to add color to go along with the rest of your home. When choosing a rug, I would tend to go a bit larger than too small. Make sure it's a low enough pile so that you're still able to open your front door....See MoreNeed help choosing entry way rug that blends with living/dining.
Comments (27)I would suggest you use a rug that covers more of the foyer area...perhaps a tufted wool with and oriental pattern that sort of fits with architecture of your home...a smallish pattern with varied colors will hold up to entry traffic better than a solid...and at the same time a small runner can be purchased in the same color and pattern...I am not sure it needs to match the other rugs ...as the foyer seems big enough to be considered a separate room...with out pictures it is hard to be sure....but the foyer is the introduction to your home and sets the expectations for the rest of the house...See MoreNeed help with faux floral arrangement for entry way table

Comments (4)Make sure bench id high ebough and deep enough that an adult would be comfortable siiting on to change shoes, boots, etc. Hools to the side of the bench so a hanging coat or jacket would not interfere with seated area. Older visitors may also do better with a bench that has arms to assist with transferring to and from a seated position....See MoreAngel 18432
