We bought and had installed approximately 1,000 sq ft of Puresque carpet 6 months ago. We bought this brand based on the marketing that it eliminates odors - important to us with 4 dogs. It has been the worst investment in our home ever. While odors are no longer a problems, stains are almost untreatable. The carpet seems to just hang on to standard everyday stains that no other carpet ever has. We have had it professional cleaned 2 times by our trusted carpet cleaner we have been using for 15 years. This product just does not clean well. In addition, it has seriously snagged in multiple places and runs and unravels like a sweater. We have several "bald" spots now even though we have knotted off the unraveling spots as we find them. We plan on replacing this costly disappointment as soon as possible. We would never recommend this product.

please HELP!!! it was thanks to this enormously helpful website that i was finally able to figure out how to reset the dusty beast of a GDO that we have had for 7+ years now....however, i forgot the one little detail that is the GDO remotes....my sister and father (the ones who actually get to park their cars in the garage) have now been hounding me for about a week to figure out how to reprogramme them.....they are old and faded but appear to have at one point been grey (or possibly greyish brown) and have three teal buttons on them...the large one which we actually use to open the garage door, and two progressively smaller round ones....i am able to provide the numbers of the back if necessary....your assistance is of great appreciation! (aka- thanks a million!) also it may be helpful to know that it is a Craftsman 1/2 hp (whatever that may mean?)

Ours is much worse that the pictures and that's only 18 months into it. We've got chips all around the sink and scratches everywhere. Oiling it makes them fade out quite a bit. I was REALLY worried my DW was going to have a fit about it but she say's I'm more concerned about than she is. At first she was appalled (I talked her into SS) but I explained that it's soft and will age with us :) She seems to have taken it to heart as she doesn't even care anymore. I only cared because I thought she would, we're all good now. Our 1st X-mas celebration we had the wine bottles on the SS counter, when it was over there were scratches all over from people dragging the bottles across the counter. My sis put a giant plant in a ceramic planter on the counter and then drug it off making the 1st really BAD scratches. Actually after a while all the scratches sort of meld together and it looks fine. I still love it, nothing looks like it or behaves like it. One thing people will tell you is that you can put a hot pan directly on the counter, like oven to counter, and you can but......that spot on the counter is going to be HOT for a while so you have to pay attention. I started using trivets just to avoid the hot spots. SS is really something you have to want, it's far from just a nice looking slab of rock, it will change constantly over time and you have to be willing to except and even embrace it. It cost more than granite and even some marble (we have marble on one side of the kitchen and on the island) but it wears like a cheap sock depending on which variety you get. I would get it again, even after all the scratches people still marvel at it, we have really large and dramatic talc veins in ours. I also sand out anything that I don't like (200/400 grit wet, dry makes a huge mess). It's very easy to maintain.

Thank you all. It was a nice day-- but my mother had a medical emergency. All is well now.. but it was scary. As for the outfit, it was great in the breeze. I was comfortable... but I really could have worn anything. There was a very wide range of dress.. and many were *very* casual. Got lots of compliments on the shoes-- they were very comfortable and despite not being able to wear even small heels, these worked for me. I'll probably get another pair.
