Once in awhile, something comes along like this that I never forget. The last one was over 20 years in Traditional Home or something where a designer showcased his French farmhouse, and I learned the impact of the judicious use of deep red. I never forgot that piece either because just like here, you enter another cozy world, and the designer's personality really shines through.

Scot, I keep returning to your apartment when I need 'refreshemnt' as I do today when it's grey, rainy and dismal and in the 40s here in Fairhope AL and especially after today's new blog on returning to the 70s décor. OMG how terrible! Glad 99% agree with me! A far cry from the first real decorating I could afford that was done in the 70s, you'd have approved of it! Later I did a den/TV room in dark red with a bit of green trim and monkeys. Loved it though I normally need light so I can see but it was not a room for reading. You replied to me before (Alabamagal, now changed to Margery @ grandsturdy410@yahoo.com) Please let me know if you ever venture down to Fairhope again so we can meet!
