I actually love the white doors but my husband thinks it's a bad idea with four little kids. We do have a ton of windows, 10 foot ceilings etc... but in our old home, we didn't have as much light and I did like the gauntlet gray doors. I don't think I can get him to agree to Dover white for doors so I need something! I'm at the paint store and I'm seeing what you are both talking about with the dovetail... I pulled Acier and that might be an option...

Going to suggest your choices are too light. Pale Oak is a great color for north light, but I think it is going to show pink. I like this one, B.M. Solitude. Strong enough to work with the brass and perfect with the art. North rooms often need a darker paint color because you will be turning on the lights most of the time. But if you are looking at a different tone altogether, then my suggestion would be Revere Pewter. I have it in a north room, but it has lots of windows.

The dancing bear, the lamp, the pictures, and Turner mirror are my choices. Everything else you see came with the condo (purple end table) when I bought it. This is a work in progress and any suggestions are welcome. I'm pleased with the color, and the picture doesn't really do it justice, but after it was on I realized that it was very close to the color at my previous home which my ex-wife and I picked out. Small trade-off I guess. I'll think of her every day until I'm dead anyway, so what's a little wall color reminder? I'm not taking her back (well, maybe for a night or two) and I'm not repainting. Funny how these things work out.
