Hi, we're putting in a 28'x52' sport court in our backyard (with basektball and smaller pickleball court lines) and have some restrictions on drainage requirements. Pickleball players -- is a concrete or asphalt base a must have?
Has anyone designed, installed or used a permeable sport court base under sport tiles (e.g. there are a few companies that have permeable foundation tiles that sit on base rock) for pickleball or any other sport?
What has been your experience on the bounce and functionality? We're not playing competitive national sports or anything, but given the investment and size, want to make sure a permeable base would meet our needs.
