Maybe an actual front porch all across the right side and then tie that roof into the existing roof all the way across . From what I see you cannot easilt do a portica with a peaked roof and I think a front porch might be anice addition to thje front of the house . I might be tempted to maybe even do a aporch across the whole front of the house ,or something like this maybe. You need an architect or a good exterior designer to really help to make sure drainage is addressed and the roof tie in is done well
