I Need help with paint color for front door and screen. Awnings & trim
Comments (8)Hi Debbie: Just got to check out Behr paints last evening. I didn't get any samples, so this is just from color swatches. Here's my recommendations: - If you can find a paint color consultant in your area, I bet it will be worth your time and $. They may recommend colors you've never thought of, painting the brick, etc. The sheen of the paint you choose, as well as the paint product can affect the appearance of the color you pick. Pros are great at guiding you through this. - To keep it simple, I'd do your trim and screen door in Behr Painter's White (PPU18-8), Eggshell or Satin Enamel - A safe color for your front door would be a green (assuming you don't paint the brick). I'd do the front door in Semi-Gloss Enamel. A few possibilities are (all Behr) Alpine Air BXC-38, Potting Moss BXC-82, Simply Sage PPU10-16. Comments (12)Such great ideas everyone. OMG Melissa, WOW! The house looks so different without the shutters. I LOVE the SW Urbane Bronze front porch...even the walk way and driveway. I like the Bora Bora Shores front door rather than the yellow. Very nice. :) I really love it!....See MoreColor for front door of brick-front?
Comments (2)I would paint all of the trim to match your siding. It would be a much softer color than white especially with the brick and the brick accents. I think you could go with a blue door....See MoreFront door needs character!! Any modern or transitional ideas???
Comments (4)I like what you have as existing. A much larger welcome mat would be appropriate. The plain white planter should be a color instead because it doesn't match all your off-white colors. I might have considered planters at the base of each column instead of next to the front door. I think your cone-shaped shrubs have probably grown too large for your home....See Morecat_ky
