Remembering all of the people who fought and suffered for our freedom. I actually can't think of a man in the generation older than I (Greatest Generation) in my and my DH's family who was NOT in the armed forces during WWII. My brother volunteered to go to Viet Nam, and we have a nephew who was in Iraq in the Special Forces, and is now in a great career with the SFPD. All deserve our thanks.
