Get the brick and all the concrete cleaned. Paint the siding to match the brick. Cannot see the front door well but if that's a storm door I would remove it. Paint the shutters a medium dark color. When the roof needs replacing go with a medium charcoal, the black is too dark. The biggest help for curb appeal will be new landscaping. May be considered colonial style

I would concentrate on landscaping & painting the shutters as jck910 advised, follow jck’s other suggestions as well. Maybe new exterior light fixtures are in order, difficult to tell from pics.

It appears to be a raised ranch with a front gable bump out. Here is an example, except your garage entry is on the side of the house.

Notice the front porch. I think it adds to the look of the house and would fun to decorate.
