steve_o OK! I don't listen to the radio very much- but when I do, I listen to FM. I have a few Cd- but usually I lisen to them in the car- even that is rare. I seem to go in 'waves'. I really don't care about color- it just has to look decent in my living area. Cost? I guess around $300- I can't see spending a bunch for something that I don't use much- but then again, if I find something I like, maybe I'll use it more. We only have about 4 radio stations here- most are country western, which I don't like- maybe that is why I don't use a radio much.... (I have an Teac- or maybe it is Awia(sp)in my nice warm winter place that I am not at this year- I'm here, freezing the rear end off. Anyway it is either Teac or Awia, but I don't listen to it down there either, and there are lots of stations there!) The one down south is so difficult for me to use- because I rarely use it, every time I do, I need the manuel just to use the cd! Hope this helps. We only have Big Box stores in the nearest bigger city, so limited choices. Thanks.

So many products to choose from! Looking for a great quality and affordable decking material. I love Ipe, Cumaru and Garapa, but question if we have contractors here who know how to build using these hardwoods. Of man-made products I've found in my research, Lumberock, Rhino Deck and MoistureShield seem to have qualities to recommend them. I'd sure appreciate any information on any of these products that you might know about! Or other recommendations of great products that I might not have found yet. Thanks in advance for any suggestions to help us in our search.

Oh darn! Has no one used this stuff in the two years since this questioned was posted? I was about to use an acrylic stain on a very large concrete patio area when I happened to see this stuff at my local Ace Hardware. It looks great in the store samples but if I am going to have to deal with chipping and the like after a couple of years I think I would prefer to take my chances with a stain which can be covered over easily. This stuff looks almost like a cement skim coat which can't be easily fixed if something goes wrong with it.

Hello my name is Michael Camaret and I own a company called American Painting And Deck Care. We have been serving the Merto Atlanta area since 1999. Our main premise is Deck Maintenance. I have alot of experiance with Wolman Extreme, enough to know that it is vertually impossible to strip. You have a few options. Put a solid color stain over what is there. Replace the floorboards(which at that point I would put Trex). Or I would try this first. Glidden makes a water based product that I use that has a sheen just like Wolmans. The product is Glidden Endurance or Glidden Woods Pride (same product different label) Semi-transparent deck stain. You will probably have to go a little darker in color and make sure you sand all the flaking areas very well,then spot brush those areas with the new stain,then spray 2 coats on the deck with the Glidden product. You will loose some of the transparance. But the deck will look brand new! If you or anyone else has any deck or painting related questions or need a free Estimate.
