Great shots, everyone! A doe and her twins are about 10 feet from my kitchen window as I write this. I worry that the fawns have become too accustomed to people. Taigen, perhaps your Endless Summer had the same experience as mine. Previous winters killed the plant to the ground. Although it is said to bloom on new wood as well as old, it didn't produce very many blooms on the new wood--maybe one or two each year. Then this year a lot of the plant survived the winter. Finally able to bloom on new and old wood, it put on a spectacular show.

These are called moss and lichen. They are indigenous to Washington. I found them on the pear tree on my walk around the backyard. Going out today, hopefully I'll find more. HAQHAHAHAHAHHA

Happy Father's Day to all you dads and granddads! I've been waiting for these berries to ripen before pulling out the brambles where I don't want them growing. (But the raccoon or chipmunk will probably get them first!) Marcia

My clematis, one of the few plants I have managed not to kill. The urn from dad’s ashes is right next to it. It also has a few of my mother’s ashes. My sisters and I put their ashes in the Elbow River near to where we grew up and no one wanted the leftover urn. I took it and now it sits on my front porch year round. I like to think it is what keeps my clematis thriving.🙂 You never know. Picture from last year.
