I like what I see on my monitor.
Guessing you are talking about a bathroom?
B.M. Pale Smoke for the walls because it a cool, soft neutral which will, IMO, balance out the warm, pink tones. Give it a try.

Help! Pinkish colored residue on my grout
Comments (10)While it may look as though your shower floor is dry, if the underlayment and pan are holding water because the pan or membrane weren't properly sloped toward the drain when the shower was built, or if the weep holes in the bottom of the drain are clogged, water or moisture will be retained in the underlayment (which is a porous masonery product) beneath your river rock. When that happens, even though the floor of the shower may appear to be dry, moisture or damp remains below the visible surface, and mold becomes a problem. Bill Vincent or Mongo can probably tell you if there's some way to unclog weep holes without tearing out the shower floor (I'm not an expert - I went through a similar problem in a house I once owned), but if the pan or membrane weren't properly sloped, the only solution is to tear out the shower floor, and reinstall it properly. And alas, unless you're taking only cold showers, the tile in your shower is subject to warming up during a hot shower -- even though you're in the northeast....See MoreFlorida Tile vs. Dal-Tile for Subway Tile Wall
Comments (19)I just want to update for 2019 and say that Marazzi has moved to new ownership recently, and I've seen reviews around the web about people complaining that there is an increased grayish tint to some of the tiles with more recent production beginning around 2018. @bill_vincent stated back in 2009 in a previous comment in this thread that the Marazzi tile he'd used wasn't always square, but we had tile layers this year who recommended it as a good-quality tile, so your mileage may vary. Upon visiting a Marazzi showroom in my area, I was very impressed with the variety and style of the tile on display. Thanks for all the comments here on Florida Tile. I believe I'll avoid it based on these reviews. We used Italian-made Happy Floors tile for a recent master bathroom project and are pleased with it. The installers said it was very square, and the style we chose was a through-body porcelain. Every word-of-mouth recommendation and online review I've read about USA-made Crossville tile has been good. Apparently they have a strict system of quality control. The one complaint is that it can be expensive compared to similar tile in other lines. However, the finish coating on some of Crossville's products is supposedly high-tech to make it more cleanable and long-lasting, so maybe it would be worth it. We've found that our area ProSource seems to offer the best price on Crossville and runs periodic sales on it. Note that there is more than one tile company with the name "Crossville," referencing the location of the city of Crossville, Tennessee, where these companies are located, but I'm talking about Crossville Inc. also known as Crossville Studios. Comments (139)Sorry about the load time...but I'm done now. :) You have refinishable floors, MG? As Pllog says, reduce, reuse, recycle...I see why you'd be torn. Tough one. The grey we have decided on (yes we have!) is far less interesting than "Granada" which is sort of elegant and grownup but didn't work for us. Too earthy I think and I want more Easter basket springy. My juvenile streak is shining through. That orange (with blue!) is a perfect look with my oak floor, Pllog. But the spouse wasn't as keen. Some days I'd show it to the spouse and he's all yeah great! And the next time he's all ewwww that's gross. We also had the problem of not being all that great at coordinating things. I mean, I can pick colors that look good together, but when a floor has a lot of chunks of color in it, I feel compelled to use a wall color that is also in the floor. I shouldn't, and I can get past it, but...well, grey's nice with anything I'm likely to use. I've done floors grey before. I've done walls grey. It's a good color! But we have selected a plain grey. "Eternity". If it bores us, we can add a rug or rip it out and add something bright. I hope it doesn't show coffee grounds...the picture on the Forbo page looks even less like the sample than most of their pictures. It's smudgy and not mottled like that suggests and has larger texture. Looks alot like Rhome's "Serene Grey" but a tad darker, and yes, there will likely be celery walls. I was going to attach the Forbo picture, but it's so far off I won't bother. Refer to the celery picture above and imagine it a little darker. Comments (30)Yes, agree completely. Gray-blue tinted marble-like surface would work better. I am also beginning to think that white cabinets would be a no-go with this...would really want some color under the countertop to balance out the intensity of tile. The thing is that I was always obsessed with oriental tile patterns but I never thought that using them will also dictate a certain cabinet color. For instance, out of all the choices below (the last photo shows my chosen tile installed), I really think either blueish or gray-ish cabs will work. If I was really brave, I'd do navy blue, but I'm not. What cab color would you do? I also thought about doing different cabinet colors but I fear it would add to the overall busy-ness. Although my kitchen does have very clear zones (island, perimeter, breakfast nook flanked by glassfront towers) so different colors would not be illogical...Btw, I will be ordering painted doors from Scherr's, so COULD do different colors...decisions,decisions!...See Morerendonms
