Clump Shots Over The Past Few Weeks
Comments (11)I came in from gardening and was thrilled to see your post! I love to see clump shots, especially ones as healthy and pretty as yours are. What I always marvel at are those nicely mulched beds with nary a weed in sight. I like each & every one of these because they look so marvelous blooming away. What a beautiful sight! I finally got my order from Earlybird a couple days ago and Golliwog is planted. I know it will take a long time for mine to look as great as yours but I do hope it gives me a bloom or two this year, even though I got it in late. Your seedling is very pretty and Miss Tinkerbell is charming. Thanks for the beautiful eyecandy today. Celeste...See MoreA Few New and some Clump Shots
Comments (14)Willow Dean Smith is going to be a star in our garden. This is the third year and doing so great. It also has three new scapes, so the flower show should last for quite some time. The longer we have FFSnow, the more we love it. I did a crazy thing, crossed it with Star Child, and yes---There is a pod, hope the pod develops seeds and some day there will be another beautiful daylily. Twirling Parasol really does have a unique look to me, and this year some of the scapes are above the listed 22" height, which makes me happy....See MoreLots of blooms, lots of clumps
Comments (12)Maryl, Roy was sent as a gift plant not once but twice (!) by the same vendor one year. I am always wary of that practice “is this a bad plant?”, “is this a plant you want to get rid of?”, etc. However, it has really shown itself to be a really pretty soft orange that so far holds up pretty well. Debra, I do like Marietta Heartbeat. For me, it always opens without those early morning splotches so many purples are habit prone to do. Perhaps because it is just beginning to bloom-this was FFO-so it misses the heavy spring dew. It has also multiplied well in a bad spot. On the other hand, Here Lies Butch has always been a stagnant plant for me. I think Sherry has more luck with it....See MoreLots of blooms, few clumps
Comments (10)Debra, this jungle bed has been on my radar to clean out for awhile but had to make priorities with limited garden time after getting home from work and the ones that were out front and newer beds came first. It is sad to see how quickly undergrowth can take over. Nancy, Christmas Greetings blooms above the foliage although not at registered height. It is such a pretty color. Kay, what happened to our Bullfrog Kisses? It was so spectacular last year!!! Maryl, yes, my new Spot who has turned out to be such a garden kitty-fun, energetic, inquisitive and a huntress! Thomas Tew has never had this tannish color for me so hopefully it is due to the cool weather. Here is a picture from May 26 last year And the color I have always seen....See Moreorganic_kitten
