Some clump shots... (pics)
Comments (16)That is a great clump shot of Whimsical! I looked online for info about it and none of the other photos of Whimsical look nearly as pretty as yours. Most of the photos are much lighter - does your Whimsical stay dark is it light lavender later in the day? Thanks, Juliet Here is a link that might be useful: Whimsical at Gilbert Wilds...See MoreA few clump shots & 2 seedlings

Comments (21)Gee, I thought I had answered later posters, but I guess not. Thanks to all of you who have commented on the clumps...Clown Parade has done beautifully for me for the first year, Dick, I have the sibling, Marilyn Lee Boch, but while it does well, Clown Parade is the better plant here. Billi, it seems odd that you will be getting warm when we cool off, but that is the way it is. Mantis, you know I have whined continuously about all of the weeding I've had to do; thank you. Debra, I figure I have to kill a plant three times before I give up on it. Hope AL works for you this time. Maryl, I wish that was Bermuda grass you saw. That bed has been weeded but not mulched , so I have to continually weed until it is mulched...that stinking grass is closs to a nut grass...requires digging out, but that is just a leader and I can pull it back. To all who like Philistine Champion, it is another wonderful plant. Julia, if you read this, how is your doing? kay...See MoreSome clumps and group shots from the weekend
Comments (13)Bob - Westbourne Little Lamb's petals are really a light yellow. The true color never shows up in my photos. Also, it was incorrectly registered as a tet. It will only set see with dips. Maryl - I like the the two Westbournes I grow. Little Lamb has never been as tall as registered and has never rebloomed for me. W. Good Old Days is by far the better plant: vigorous, tall, well branched, and reblooms. Julia - Hope your storms don't do any damage. This is supposed to be our driest day all week - only a 20 percent chance of rain. Debra...See Moreavedon_gw
