As pointed out, the central tree is a detriment on account of being so close, and being disfigured with too low of branching for the situation. If it's going away anytime soon, it would be good to get pictures without it. Another detriment is a walk that is too close to the front of the house to allow for a proper depth foundation planting bed. Any possibility of it being redone? A third detriment is the big green woolly "bear" positioned next to the steps, waiting to ambush anyone coming or going. No doubt, you'll want to add new plantings after resolving those things. The pictures you've provided, though, are not great for giving you graphic feedback. I suggest you retake them with the camera positioned in line with the center of the house, and at a closer distance than the first picture. You'd probably need to take them from the bed of a pickup or a stepladder that is positioned at the toe of the slope. Pan from left to right taking slightly overlapping pictures so the whole scene can be captured contiguously. Include space beyond each end of the house. Don't reposition the camera between pictures except to pivot. Changing the house paint color could be an improvement. White strikes me as plain and uninspiring. I find medium tone greys* with white trim to be overall more desirable. *Could be a variation of greys or taupes or lean toward a color ... but not BE a color. Avoid beiges & brown, especially in that combination .... so overdone to death and 30 years stale.

I was going to suggest the same as celery. absolutely remove the large shrubs. I'm sure any local nursery can suggest the correct plants for your flower bed. Some other ideas: Just painting your garage door a darker tone (all of that bright white against the dark red brick is too star) and adding some of the carriage hardware to it, makes such a diff I gave you a softer beige, but her dark gray would work too. here's a warm, dark gray w/the carriage hardware (you can buy this on Amazon for less than $40) Looks good w/the dark brick, yes? and don't forget to get some new garage lights that aren't white. any of these would be fine. see these lights? and the hardware on the door? dark red brick, with all of the warmer (don't do a blue gray!) trim and door. since you have some rock in the beds, you could do something like this w/the pots around the front door (which you could also paint. I gave you a peacock blue) just look at the flower beds not the house. they used mexican pebbles and large pots this would also work w/your house color

It's a guest room, right? What type of feeling do you want in the room? Low contrast usually evokes calm while contrast can be more energizing. This article talks about contrast in rooms. It's not about a colour being "wise" necessarily; it's about how you want the room to look and feel. There's more than one way to create a great looking room. Are the furnishings all set up in the space? How does everything look and feel? If you're having difficulty picturing a different colour on the wall, try tapping up a white sheet behind the nightstand to see how a light wall colour would fare. A neutral off-white might offer the most flexibility should you wish to change the bedding later on.

There is a lot going on in that room. I've been in homes in OR with tile floors and even with heated floors they were cold and echoy. That's a large room--it will be bad. With the roof and fireplace, I'd try to minimize everything else. I'd go with an off-white berber rug (durable, stain resistant) for warm and quiet. Keep the floor either white/off white, or go with the darkest shade in the roof (and do some vinyl plank--but not something with a lot of texture or color change---no more patterns necessary in this space--save for rug or art). I'd paint the wall off white as well. I'd probably leave the trim since it echos the roof and all the wood work in the kitchen. But would put some nice cellular shades in each window. Individual shades could turn those windows around. Once, everything else is subdued (minus the fireplace and roof), I'd build with my furniture and art to blend it all together.
