No, I do know for a fact that around here, an offer on a short sale that is accepted by the seller but waiting for their lender to accept is "pending" or "pending short sale". We never did find out what exactly was up. My agent called the listing agent, the listing agent said that the listing should have been changed to "pending", and hours later it was. Because I am a cynical and cranky wench, my suspicion is that perhaps the listing agent brought in a buyer, and wanting both seller and buyer commissions clogged up the tubes for 12 hours or so with this "mutual agreement" crap until his/her buyer was able to rustle up a real offer. As someone said, though, it's not like we could do anything about it even if that were true, so onward. (BTW we understand the pitfalls inherent in the short sale system, but since our budget is quite low, we'd rather deal with the pitfalls than eliminate that entire pool prospective houses. And it is a large pool; lots of short sales around here.)

Thank you all! I went with a silk pillowcase. I just needed a little confirmation that it wasn't a crazy idea. I don't think she has one and I really think she'll like it. The plus being it's supposed to be great for her hair and future wrinkles! And it will be a great addition to the super soft, but cheap throw she wanted from Sam's. I like that it's small enough to take anywhere but she'll always have something familiar at night. I did the cashmere wrap last Christmas, and her dad takes care of all of her purse and wallet needs for now - and does a way better job than I could :) Thanks!

Lol, it is lip smackin good! I've done a fast version of it by chopping up a pineapple and saute it in butter on low heat to break it down, add brown sugar, get it gooey and then toss in the middle ced peppers. It is a helluva mess, but.....mmm mmm good. I like the glaze to be thick and caramel like and then slow cook the ribs/steak.
