It is a love/hate relationship. Perfect temps fridge and freezer. Love the layout...slender insides...the shelves and drawers. The drawers are brittle and i do have some cracks in the plastics. The ice maker tray has cracked and the repair kit is 120$...but just the 2 dollar tray is cracked. I just need a new tray, not a full kit. It will crack again. A re-call on the hinges took months to schedule a 'free' replacement. Seems all of NYC has one repair guy. I think mine is going on 6 yrs now. I have learned through net searching how to repair the few problems myself. Once a year it seems, i need to empty and turn off the freezer and let the tiny drain thaw...it tends to seize and freeze shut...a few hours off and help with a hair dryer thaws the drain. The fridge drain often clogs as well...about once a year. Not sure if i would buy one again. If they would sell the ice trays for five bucks, (and i would order a few), i might give them a higher mark since i know how to replace it... It is a good ice maker when it works...tiny square crystal clear cubes as it is a very cold efficient system... They were very kind and helpful on the phone under warranty...now not so much. We pulled ours out and studied how it drains and know where to point the hair dryer....no access from the inside, dumb design and such an easy design fix...and they should sell the 2 dollar ice trays as singles and i would support their efforts as a decent fridge but a bit pricy for some serious issues that occur over and over. Even when the drain clogs it still holds perfect temps...so we take our time to get around to the un-clogging. (a sheet of ice forms under the bottom lower freezer bins) When the ice tray cracks, as mentioned above, you get a solid block of ice in your ice bin. The ugly eye-sore KitchenAid that came with the house and now our garden harvest/beer cooler-overflow-fridge is in the basement works fine as a fridge should. (no ice-maker). Very unlike me to still love something with so many problems, but i've never lost any fresh or frozen foods ever. If i was not handy and a quick study of problems, i may have had some costly repairs...and the repair guy would be borrowing my hair dryer to fix something so simple....

Dano Marco, I purchased the 36” Induction range. I have actually not used the oven yet as a I a combi steam oven, but have used the cooktop quite a lot. I am new to induction, so have had a learning curve. A couple of takeaways. The cooktop works well, but there is some limitation with the pot sizes, as the top does not have a bridge burner. I like using the knob, but there is a lot of play in that you turn it a lot to go from one level to the next. Also, I wish they had one small burner up front rather than both in the back. I tend to use the center burner the most. Overall I am pleased with the range. I did not want to spend more for the Wolf, and so far feel that I have made a decent choice. Here are a couple of photos with it installed.

@cerienawasmycreation In the end, 1100$ of savings pushed me towards the Bertazzoni. I took my wife to the only store with both on display and while she spent most of the process in the "yea that's a stove too" mindset in terms of opinion, seeing the FM and Bertazzoni in person made her really favor the bertazzoni. Comparing the two side by side, they are both clearly quality builds by appearance, but the Bertazzoni is definitely a looker. It's counter depth, classical styling, and built with aesthetics in mind. The FM has a very prominent, large, and kind of attention drawing square logo, as well as the digital screen. I'd definitely be happy with it, and it's far from ugly, but the Bertazzoni is just such a step up aesthetically. People say it isn't a cooker, but I cook literally every single night on it and it's a beast. Heats quickly and evenly in the oven, while the gas range is quick, responsive, easy to use, and I've never been happier. Super easy to clean as well. Cast iron griddle accessory (~250$) is great in the center, the soft open/close oven is amazing and the soft slide bearings are helpful. It also came with a drip tray and what looks to be a digital thermometer attachment that I'm not quite sure how to use but haven't felt like figuring out/calling in about. If you do get the griddle accessory, it rests atop the grate; not in place of it. If anyone is looking, I bought from Ed Kellum & Sons, and they were 20% cheaper than anyone else offered. At first when I checked, they said it could be here by end of June when I needed it (ordered in mid-May), but then received an automated update for mid August instead. I called in and my sales rep said he'd check on it. When I asked Capital Distributing if they had a better lead time (because they said come back with any other prices and they'd match), they said they couldn't beat that price and I should definitely stick with them. Luckily, EKS got back and swapped my order with one from a builder lot, since they love sticking these in high end apartments. Had mine about 2 1/2 months with no issues until yesterday, when the temperature dial appears to have inverted. So it rests at the high end of the range and then starts to travel further right as temp increases. That makes it slightly difficult to know where the temp is at, but if you're preheating your oven you still get the beeps letting you know when it works. I need to call in and get that fixed because it seems like an install error. Overall I can't compare it to a mielle or a thermador or a wolf that I haven't used. I can say that I am very satisfied with it and have very few complaints.

Leigh, we’ve had our 36” Sofia induction range for about a year and a half now. We’re mostly happy with it. Operationally it’s fantastic. The hobs work beautifully. The oven is very nice. The one disappointment was with self clean. We did it twice. The first time we used the default shorter self clean time and it worked well. The second time, since we’d done a lot of fat-laden cooking, we tried the longer self-clean time. That was a bad move. The heat burned out two components (the thermal breaker and I think the oven thermostat), so that the oven was dead. No damage to the induction top, but I had to call for a repair. It was repaired fine, but the Fulgor trained technician who works for the appliance place where it was purchased said to never use self clean on any of the new ovens. Said they all eventually cause similar damage depending on the brand. That could all be a load of B.S., but my Fulgor at least seemed to be in line with what he said. My previous 20+ year old KitchenAid 30” gas range was self cleaned dozens of times with nary a hiccup.
