Lots and lots of blooming going on!
Comments (20)Well, thanks again. CTC, Mantis is correct that is Open My Eyes, and it does very well for me in zone 5. I bought it at Cottage Gardens actually!! The darker purple in the back of the eyed section is Gillian. Marg, Hold Your Horses is a Trimmer, I bought it from a seller here in zone 5, so I know it will grow well. Jean, thanks ( it's Bowie, and he has been taking it easy) Linda, I like the four paws rating system!! LOL. Vickie, Hold Your Horses is such an impressive daylily, I could see it from across the gardens where I bought it!! It just drew you in. Tobyjones, you should get Citrix, Maryott had it, but I was able to find it from a local grower, and I do blame Kay for making me go get it!!! hahahahaha. Thanks Kay! cindy...See MoreOctober 1st - What is blooming in your garden?
Comments (20)I have three Cosmic Couriers that are about to bloom if we get a couple of warmer days. One of the three has one bloom half opened. That's about it. Most of mine were planted this season, so they aren't blooming. Next year ought to be fun! The others I have are Primal Scream, Marietta Magic, Bahama Butterscotch, Carefree Peach, Bertie Ferris, Imperial Elegance, Flying Tigers, and Ocean Drive Sunset. None are now blooming though. Marietta Magic Bahama Butterscotch First bloom Primal Scream, can't wait for next year Primal Scream is situated in front of a May Night Salvia, and next to a Sunny Border Blue Veronica, so the combination of the oranges, purples, and blues should be nice. Darn, too bad winters coming!...See MoreWhat is Blooming in Your Garden - June 2011 - Photos Part 1
Comments (47)It looks like HF Young, but there are a bunch of clematis that have similar color and bloom time that it could be, including Fujimusume, Silmakivi, Lasurstern, Zara, Cezanne, and Diana's Delight. There are also some with similar color that bloom a bit later, including Prince Charles....See MoreAfter a lot of hard work, Steve's Garden is finally done!
