It's time! Any new ice cream flavors?

I am definitely a fan of chocolate chip ice cream made with shaved chocolate, rather than morsels. In no mood to make scratch ice cream, but got a couple new (at least to me) flavors of McConnell's. Both have melted chocolate shards, similar to shaved. One is called Chocolate Covered Strawberries. I don't actually like actual chocolate covered strawberries. I don't like wet with solid chocolate, I mostly don't like squishy with hard, and the flavor proportions are wrong for me...but the ingredients sounded good. It's great! It's like chocolate shard chip with frozen strawberries. Right texture. Right flavor proportion. Really good!

But then there's the Double Peanut Butter Chip. While I don't really eat peanut butter, I generally like peanut butter chocolates. A lot of people might like, or even love, Double Peanut Butter Chip, but I don't. The peanut flavor is solid. There are little bits of peanut, but not hard, in the peanutbutter ice cream base. It overpowers the chocolate shards however, and they're just texture. I thought the salt would be nice, but it's too salty. Who wants a dry mouth from ice cream? But it's not bad per se. I don't like it, but it might be perfect for somebody else.

What new flavors have you tried?
