Please help. This is my second attempt at getting this bathroom right. Walls & ceiling all re-spakled so that it is flat (w/o texture). I applied 2 coats of Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3, and let it cure for 7 days. Now the hard part - what to paint the ceiling with? I have Behr Premium Plus Ultra , satin (supposed to have anti-microbial, stain & water resistance) but does not say 'ceiling paint'. I used this paint on prior attempt, w/o the Zinsser, but worried that I could be using something more ideal. Any suggestions? Here is a link that might be useful: Home depot

Faron, thanks for the response. "MY guess is previous owners just slapped up a quick coat b4 selling, without cleaning or priming! The paint is therefore peeling off in places where bond is poor, and/or over old repairs." I think your guess is absolutely correct. This condo was completely re-done by the original before I bought it, but I keep finding a lot of small issues that show poor workmanship. As for the ceiling, I know this might sound lazy, but I really suck at painting. I would have to hire someone to come in and do what you said in order to fix it and make it look good. Is there any other way to get rid of the bubbles, at least for the time being until the ceiling really needs a new coat of paint?

Have you checked to make sure your exhaust fan is actually exhausting to the outside? Is it powerful enough for the size of the room? Is there a big enough gap under the door to let in makeup air so that it can work properly? Is it set on a timer so that it runs for 20-30 minutes after each shower has ended?
