3-tier Lazy Susan?

Has anyone ever seen a 3-tier Lazy Susan (LS) for a base cabinet? I've only seen them in ~18" sizes for upper cabinets...I'd like to store Tupperware in mine but want a 3rd level (I hate stacking!).

i grew up w a 3 tier lazy susan ......full circle......in a diagonal base corner cab whch allowed a nice deep corner counter for the baking we did at the time....[mom and kids].....the tupperware she had was square containers and she stacked them as shown below........quite a bit of freezing of home made things.......they occupied about a fifth of one of the tiers w lids too. In these times I dont know where people put tupperware.....I prefer zip lock freezer bags but here is a roll out cabinet which in my childhood was not available. I liked the 3 tier susan....it held a bunch... you can still do lazy susan of a variety of types or this roll out system....or place the tupperware in a base drawer. I dont know why you say you dont stack the tupperware.

rev a shelf provides this sort of thing. I didnt see a 3 tier for under counter.....they space the tiers equally as a standard offering so for more custom spacing to add another tier you may have to search. But there are other places you can create to "stash the tupperware " now also.

We used to keep plastic storage on a lazy susan, and it was a pain in the neck. When we remodeled our kitchen, we specified a drawer for that purpose, and it was game changing!

Our current house doesn't have a lot of drawer space, so we have storage containers (plastic and glass) in upper cabinets. I find it much more efficient to use the lazy susan for canisters of dry goods.

I have never been a fan because one wrong spin...by a child or a grandchild or if you are in a hurry....and you will jumble everything and usually lose something in the very back where it's almost impossible to retrieve. I prefer drawers and I have seen some that slide back into the dead space then swing out. You can also use dishpans or similar bins/basketry to hold things then store them behind each other and move them manually from behind each other as needed. I have also seen a really ingenious lazy susan if you like that sort of thing...and it's much more functional with all the kinks worked out. You can make them! Take 2 identical round cake pans (any size but the same size) and fill the bottom one with a single layer of marbles. Then put the other pan on top of the marbles. This is good for your upper cabinet to hold spices or table condiments. I do want to point out that while lazy susans do help utilize hard to reach spaces in the backs of cupboards, by definition they are ROUND and round things offer less storage than square of the same size...you lose all that space where a square container reaches to the corner. Remember this principle when you choose canisters, tupperware, and other bins and baskets for tight spaces. Round things are a space waster.

single trays lay flat on shelves allowing you to keep the whole volume of the inside of the cabinet instead of shrinking the inside walls to fit around the lazy susan. So the sides and corners can store more packages etc. stack cans,,,bottle water etc in those spaces..

Their store just off 301 is small & kind of sad. Go out the back door & under the covered area where it looks like they have 2000 doors. You really have to weed thru the stuff, but you'd be surprised. Their warehouse on Old Leonardstown Rd is only open Sat & Sun. I haven't been there yet. I never used to find what I needed at these places, either. Then I started haunting Community Forklift. I realized they got stuff in weekly and now it seems I almost always find something I need. I would really like to find old, paned windows that I could hang on my porch (after I rebuild it). The height of the screened area is 54", so tall is hard to find. I'm going back there tomorrow, though. They have a preemergent that's usually $30-some a bag for $5.00 and it's biodegradable. Cock-a-doodle-do. It's corn & chicken poop. Yummy. We are getting a carpenter to build us Super Susans. I am sure you can find one too. We are making sure that he makes the circle as big as possible to avoid wasting space, and to avoid that black hole where things can fall off. By having your turntable on a fixed shelf, nothing can fall down below (could fall off the turntable if you spin too fast, but it's less likely). With the pole type LS, because the shelves often aren't perfectly level, ie because of weight issues they can tip, and things are more likely to fly off. Think about it, if you have a spice turntable (I have a rubbermaid plastic one that I think I paid 50 cents for at a garage sale), it lays flat on the shelf, and nothing flies off, and those are just small bottles. So, have a turntable on a solid shelf, make the circle as big as possible, and build up the sides a few inches, I think you can learn to like Susan.

Here's mine, staggered shelves with an after-market turntable that I added to the bottom floor of the cabinet.

I keep the bulk of my storage containers in an upper cabinet over the prep area, with the lids stacked vertically to one side like books on a bookshelf. I use Pyrex instead of plastic and I have to admit that I have to nest the Pyrex to conserve space, which is a pain, but necessary in my small kitchen.

As you can see, my lazy Susan holds so much stuff, but it's not stuff I have to reach for constantly, whereas my storage containers are used multiple times per day, and so it makes sense for me to keep those items handy in an upper cabinet over my prep area.
