What stucco and fascia paint color with redwood siding?

Would greatly appreciate some advice on what paint color would look nice with redwood siding. All windows and doors are black. Thinking about picking one color for stucco/concrete and fascia. Can't decide if a dark color is better or a light color. I will attach a picture. Basically, we need some help with the top and bottom of the house. Thanks!

It depends on what you want. Solid color will cover up the wood like a paint does. Semi transparent will let the texture of the wood show through.

Noticed the grading equipment. Is this a new build? Nice home; congrats. You might consider adding a sidewalk that begins from in front of the door, straight out for about six feet and then arcs toward the driveway -- to where the door of a car parked in the driveway might logically be. Between that sidewalk and the front porch would be a logical place to plant a flower garden -- perhaps with a plain concrete bird bath in the center of it and/or (nearer the driveway) a treated post with a solar light atop it and some brackets for hanging flower pots and/or wind chimes and/or bird feeders and/or seasonal decorations.

What color siding and to paint or not paint brick?

Do not paint brick. It is likely to cause damage to the brick over time, and painting has to be redone about every 10 years. Your brick is a nice neutral color. However, if you must color it, use a paint made for brick like this ONE with a 20 year warranty. Here are some of the colors offered by this company. I would get rid of the shutters. Your windows are too wide, so shutters don't make sense. Instead, paint the trim around them to make them pop. If you can replace the trim with wider trim all the better. You can also paint the fascia and the vertical corner trim to add contrast. You can paint the door black as well, or choose a separate stand out color for the front door. Im trying to think of a way to say that "beachy" is a bit incongruous in a desert location. Seriously, how "beachy" color schemes - that whole blue-white-gray thing -c ame about was from taking inspiration from the coastal landscape, how the earth and sky looks from that part of the world. Similarly desert has its own esthetic sensibility - inspiration taken from the landscape. Roof is low slope shed that is white given cool roof requirement. Because of the low slope and elevated position of the house, the roof color is not visible.

Only the currently primed fascia visible along with the stucco/concrete.

Forgot to mention that I am not a green color fan. My husband and I selected the redwood siding. That was something we insisted as we wanted to keep the flavor of the original home instead of going with Hardie board sidng that was recommended instead.

There was no existing stucco. Stucco/concrete added as part of addition. Had to take out old roof because inspector claimed old beams were not beefy enough for current codes, so fascia is all new and just primed

Black would work well with the windows and the redwood.

I would choose for a stucco color something with earthy, nature tones like brownish, sage undertones,

NOT to make any big contrast. I would stay away from black due potential fading and it might be difficult to keep it clean looking. Few picture from Houzz:

Thanks for the pics. DH thinks darker colors would be best, but I prefer a lighter color. So far, most seem to be suggesting darker colors. Since the redwood is already relatively dark, are there any fans of a lighter pairing?

The 2nd pic doesn't show much wood, but I do like some of the lighter colors there.

In general I like the light color of stucco but in your case because of the placement of stucco I am not sure if it's not going to make your house look "choped". Maybe it will be better to make 2 colors transition in more subtle way.

The picture above shows the addition with the stucco/concrete. This is a more complete front view. The addition is to the left and the original footprint is to the right. Avoiding "chopped" look would be good. There will be a wood deck along the front of the original footprint.

I'll reiterate what I said before--dark on the trim. The way it looks now is not cohesive--the white trim sticks out like a sore thumb, and is giving you the "chopped" look you want to avoid. No more than two colors, so paint the trim the same as the windows--black?
