House is not built so options are open though the floor will likely be a continuation of the wood from the adjoining rooms. The room will be built up under a stair so it is small. We will use a pocket door to maximize space. Yes, I do want a tiny bit of storage...just enough to hide spare tp and hand soap. Don't care what the counter material is. If it matters there will be a small wet bar across the hall about 4 feet. We haven't made all of the decisions about that either. The last thought was that we might use a copper sink with a lit artistic backsplash. The wetbar will definitely be stained a medium dark brown. Don't know quite what to say about budget. I would love for it not cost a lot though I know it's relative. The powder room will definitely not be the wow point for my house. I'd rather it be closer to "builder" grade the billionaire. I'm more likely to spend $700 on a light than I am to spend $3000 on the vanity. Does that help?

Thanks all! Actually the mirror is from Horchow/Neiman Marcus. I've checked PB, RH, Williams Sonoma, C&B and West Elm, and there are a few acceptable candidates but nothing that really grabs me. I don't think I can frame it myself - I'm really looking for a silver metal frame or a mirrored frame, and don't think I could do that myself. Any other ideas?

We're nearly twins, jerzee! My vanity was supposed to be a warm mid-brown and it turned out darker, more mahogany-looking than I'd planned. Counter is also Cararra. My walls are SW Antique White, sort of french vanilla, and floors are a mid gray tile. Initially I thought the walls were too warm for the grays and chrome, but I like gray and cream together and I'm leaving it all as is. I had stressed over matching or mixing the metals and, in the end, have mostly chrome except for a bit of satin nickel. Nobody notices or cares. I hope you like the original finish on the mirror. A lot depends on how it works in your space. I have plenty of natural light in my bathroom. If you decide to go more silver, I can share what I did, plus what I did at first and what you should avoid doing. :)

I think it was a custom project. The mirror appears to have seams, and might be a medicine cabinet. A glass/mirror shop and a frame shop would be able to do something similar.
