Can you help me find a mirror like this?

I'm looking for a floor-length mirror to hang on the wall in my master bathroom. We're completing a remodel and I really want something nice. Have you seen any lately that you can show me?

-Dimensions: width must be 34" or less (but wide enough to be more than just an accent piece. Height isn't as important, although it obviously needs to be tall enough to be functional, probably 55" or taller

-Context: the bathroom is a classic, tailored style - white subway tile and carerra marble, with polished nickel/bright chrome finishes

-Style: I'm looking for something with either a polished silver-color frame or a mirror frame. I'd even go for a capiz/mother of pearl frame. The style should be fairly simple, not too ornate. Here's a mirror I really like (alas, I don't think it's wide enough).

That mirror is from pottery barn,restoration hardware has mirrors like that as well,just got a similar one from RH that I waited 3 months for(BTW I love mine)Good luck

If you want to decorate on the cheap....get a free one off CL, them frame it up yourself. Everyones getting rid of their BIG bathroom wall mirrors when they redo their outdated bathrooms....

That's a very cool look. I love the imperfection of it and the contrast of the black and cream. IIRC, you live in Chapel Hill, right? FWIW, we got our tile from Byrd Tile Distributors in Homestead Market in Durham across I40 from SouthPoint. There may be a store in Carrboro also. They could probably help you identify someone who makes that kind of tile. I'm sure they'd be happy to order some for you as well for a little ; ) more than HD would have charged.

We're nearly twins, jerzee! My vanity was supposed to be a warm mid-brown and it turned out darker, more mahogany-looking than I'd planned. Counter is also Cararra. My walls are SW Antique White, sort of french vanilla, and floors are a mid gray tile. Initially I thought the walls were too warm for the grays and chrome, but I like gray and cream together and I'm leaving it all as is. I had stressed over matching or mixing the metals and, in the end, have mostly chrome except for a bit of satin nickel. Nobody notices or cares. I hope you like the original finish on the mirror. A lot depends on how it works in your space. I have plenty of natural light in my bathroom. If you decide to go more silver, I can share what I did, plus what I did at first and what you should avoid doing. :)

Tara: I think bronze would be a great fit in your room based on what is already there. Here are a few other ideas, though these aren't in the same style as the ones I showed above. It's also a smart idea to use a linear fixture in your room, especially since you said there's a challenge with off-centeredness. With a linear fixture, you can get the benefit of multiple light sources while only needing to worry about one ceiling canopy and junction box! Thanks all! Actually the mirror is from Horchow/Neiman Marcus. I've checked PB, RH, Williams Sonoma, C&B and West Elm, and there are a few acceptable candidates but nothing that really grabs me.

I don't think I can frame it myself - I'm really looking for a silver metal frame or a mirrored frame, and don't think I could do that myself.

Any other ideas?

I should add to my follow up post - there are some I really like at the stores I mentioned, but they are not the right size.

Have you looked at Ballard Designs? They have some interesting, large mirrors.

I have that mirror in a different dimension from RH it is made by Bassett mirror,you can google,there are 147 mirrors there.

I would suggest you go to a frame shop and see if anything there is interesting to you. You could pick from hundreds of styles, get just the color you want and then have mirror cut to exactly the right size. On top of all that, you'll have something no one else has, something that doesn't come from a catalog.

Do you have a glass place in your area? If so, show them what you want and what size and get prices.
