Here is my small guest bath.

It looks good with a gray bath mat, in this case gray and white.

No window in this room.

Can the cabinet be turned and put on the back wall?

Yes the cabinet can be turned. Would you center it or just turn it so it faces forward in the corner?

can you unstack the cabinets and put them side by side?

peel and stick tile to redo the floor. paint . hang fun pictures. paint the vanity. put the garbage by the sink.

I would turn and center it.

I agree about moving the garbage pail. I would maybe get a stainless steel one.

I would not do a cheap peel and stick because kids are hard on things.

Your tile is fine. Just get a nicer rug, You don’t need a bath mat, just something washable.

Mine came from Kohl’s. Since I do have a shower, I have bath mat options as well.

When I find a rug I like, I always buy a second one. As one gets dirty you can quickly swap it out.

I turned it but I think it’s way to close to the toilet now….

I’m going to leave the floor as one day we def want to add a shower in here and re do the floors.

Thanks for the suggestion on the pictures and new rug.. I know need to figure out this cabinet -it can’t be separated so either moving the location or getting rid of it but then that still leaves empty space…

Can you replace the vanity hardware? Paint the walls and the vanity. Just get rid of the cabinets and see if the remaining space inspires you.

Yes the hardware can be replaced - oil rubbed bronze to match faucet or something else??

I think the cabinet's wrong for the room. I like the cabinet better turned sideways, but that creates an odd empty space beside the toilet.

Could you find a wider-but-shallow china hutch at a thrift store? Preferably without glass doors. They're easy to find these days. Something that would fill that back wall. Consider painting it white to match the vanity ... or go with a color. Use dark hardware to match your faucet.

Then fill it with pretty towels (not white -- bring in some color), small plants and such.

With that done, add a large piece of artwork over the toilet and a pretty floor mat (those big tiles aren't doing much for the room, but taking them out would be real money, and it'd turn into a snowball project).

Wall paint, paintbthe floor grout and a fun light fixture.

I just ordered these shelves that could possibly go with the back wall instead of the cabinet

Sorry, I am not a fan of those. They are industrial looking and the shelves seem narrow.

At some point I would look into a narrow cabinet for the back wall since you want that space filled.

Paint first!

You could do wall paper. The peel and stick ones are easier to use and may be get a shorter cabinet

Now you got me going down the rabbit hole. These two are less than a foot deep.

Understand that anything this price will not be top quality, but since it will not be getting heavy use, I think it will be fine.

So many choices in Wayfair.

We bought the vanity in the bathroom I posted. It is a painted wood, which surprised me. Not sure if that was in the descrition. It looks good and works well in the space.

My advice is to read everything in descriptions and specifications.
