Thanks Cpartist, Yes all these decisions we made with lots of thinking and digging through pictures online but before it actually built I am looking for any comments / suggestion to assure myselfwe are on right track , and minor changes if needed to make it perfect. I really love kitchen the most in the house and investing a lot so it's worth of people 's suggestions for me but yes ultimately I am going to take what it really makes sense to me. No ascent tile is something looking like I may take out.

Also, some lights are yellow-ish and some are referred to as “daytime lights.” Switching to daytime lights completely transformed our living room (for the better)

Visited BM with wallpaper sample. Staff suggested Antique Jade which looked reasonable in store but reads too mint in kitchen on sample board. So I tried BM Color Capture feature on their app, snap photo of darker green in wallpaper and then selected paler color down the spectrum. BTW, feature was accurate using iPhone, not so much with iPad. Ended up with Grey Mirage which I’ll sample this weekend. Interesting that it looks sort of mushroom which was what I was going for months ago before going green. It’s a journey.

steph, I have to agree,,,don't spend money on the countertops and painting but keep that flooring. It's going to look disjointed. would you rather hear the truth now or after you've spent 10-20K, only to find out the kitchen doesn't look like you imagined? You can't bring in nice, new, shiny and modern, and stick them outdated, builder basic cabs w/busy looking tiles in a completely diff color tone than what you're choosing! You came on here for advice and everyone is telling you the same (for the most part). Don't shoot the messengers. Is that the only spot w/those tiles? you can't replace them? What if you could paint them until you could replace, is thatsomething you would do? Lots of info on painting kitchen floor tiles. Patricia has a point about lighting. do you have a single ceiling fixutre? you need 4000K bulbs or everythign is going to have a yellowish/pink hue. can you put in a few more lights or get a better one w/better bulbs? Counter depth fridge is a MUST for this kitchen. The cabinets. who is painting them? Are they a solid wood or that really smooth, plastic like finish? Are they built from fiberboard or solid 1/4" plywood? What is a pro painter charging you to paint them? Are they sanding them? priming, sanding again? you have almost no drawers. drawers are better for storage. for the money you'll spend on painting, get them refaced w/drawers. (plus, the arches are really dated looking) Yes this matters becasue you're bringing in a very modern looking quartz countertop that will not work w/that style cabinet, or those tile floors. I'd also spend a bit more to take your cabinets up to the ceiling. either add boxes on top, or do a larger trim piece w/crown. if you reface, you can get taller doors. Before shot. similar to yours (ignore the appliance movement, just look at cabs) If you reface and go up to the ceiling, it would look like this Same style cabinets as yours painted BM Soft Chamois. some other cab colors. ***none of these are going to work w/your tiles.
