**WOW! To score a grafted plant that is already 2 meter high! ** Yes! One of the most important and older rose nurseries in Italy, Rose Barni, has a good collection of Old Climbing Roses, that are availables only potted, "ready for flowering" as you can read in their catalogue :o): these are a 2 years old plants, grafted on R. laxa, ad average 2 meters high, sometimes more than that, depending on the variety's vigour, in pots of 18/20 cm ( 7" 1/2). Last spring, I bought from them a 'Cooper's Burmese', which is now more than 5 m (17') high LOL! Lady Hillingdon is in a pot, because I was thinking to have bought the bush form, but now -first year- she's 2 meters high, climbing up a pillar, so I think I have the climbing one. Not so bad, there's so much more to enjoy!! :o)) Hoov, I will take many pictures, ok? :o)) The "orange" splash colour in the picture above, under my selected Miscanthus sinensis seedling, is a Chrisanthemum x rubellum 'Lady Anne Brockett': it's a delightful variety, very long flowering. The colour change as the flowers mature: they open in coppery apricot, then changes o salmon-peach, then pink... ;o) ciao! I too like the idea of the brown floors and couch, with a light rug to break it off. However I'm concerned that this particular model won't look nearly as good on brown as on the lighter colors. I'll attach a photo of a similar model so you can see what I mean. I don't think it's the color itself, but the styling that makes it look a bit weird to my eyes. Is it just me, or does something about it seem... off? Oh, and two more questions: the size is 310x260 cm (122x102 inches) do you think that's too big for the space? And last, price wise we're talking around the $5k mark, do you think that's too much? Like I said before it does seem a bit steep to me, but I have no experience shopping for couches really :) However it is one of the more expensive ones from the one I've looked at, but seemed to be on par with other italian brands on leather... As far as comfort goes, what I really like about this couch is that it has a system where the back support goes all the way to the back, and transforms the regular sitting area into a mini-chaise long, so to say. It's very comfy, for sure. Yes, the blue is beautiful with that wood. You can do as you've shown with an area rug to brighten the space and keep the brown from overpowering the wood and leather. I personally would never pick a black or brown leather sofa with that beautiful wood. I like the orange chair, but would probably select blue for it and bring in a second chair in an entirely different but complementary style, in a print incorporating blue and another color (orange if you like, or green, or ?). That leather does not look like a light sucking blue, but one that would make the room vibrant without being too bright.

I don’t mind the BMist on the wall, but it reads too dark grey on the ceiling. I think that Cedar key is warmer on both wall and ceiling.
