Hello, All. I just don't think AOL e-mail should be booting up to to the double-screen block in the upper right-hand corner. .I think it should boot to the full screen. I tend to blame it on Win7 but I've blamed everything else 7 since I switched to a new computer back in the Summer. I'd had XP from the beginning. Sure would like to have it back. Mary, for twenty or more years I've had the story about the fellow and his wife moving from Florida to Buffalo so they could enjoy the snow. I still have to read it occasionally. I hope its not as bad as the story went. I'm sure your computer skills are appreciated. Lite snow and 32 degrees all day in my area. Best regards, Gene

Click to enlarge then close by clicking File and Exit. Works for some folks. If not use the second method. Open the page, place the cursor over the top title bar and then hold down the left mouse button and drag the page to the top left or right corner. Release the mouse button. Go diagonally to the other corner at the bottom of the page and when you are right over the corner your mouse pointer becomes 2 headed and angled at 45 degrees. At this point again hold the left mouse button and drag to the bottom corner of your screen. Release mouse, click File, click Exit. That should do it. Let us know if it works please.

RC, I did a system restore early on;in fact did it twice with different dates. Message said there were no changes. So I went to Bob's link, found a download box, clicked on it and nothing happened. I also saw this there: Visit the Firefox download page in any browser (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer). The page will automatically recommend the best version(s) of Firefox for you. I went there, didn't see anything like a recommendation. I did see a download box, clicked on it, but nothing happened. There were illustrations and instructions, but nothing live to click on. So I am back where I started. There has got to be a way to do this. But what, where? Thanks. Sue

Huh? No, the question is what email service is the native email program (Apple Mail, in this case on a Mac) set up to connect to. That setting needs to be entered once for every so-called mail "client" app or program on a PC, Smartphone, or tablet. It has nothing to do with default program relationships for file types. Ginny, I know how to do it on ipads and iphones but not immediately on Macs. I have two Macs in the family but neither is here right now for me to look at. A Google search found the following two approaches, they differ perhaps depending on which version of Apple Mail you have. But either or a combination of the two should get you where you want to be. If these don't work, again, refer to an Apple forum. #1 To Set Up Your Apple Mail From the Mail menu, select Preferences. Go to the Accounts tab, and then click the plus sign(+) at the bottom of the Accounts box. In the Add Account window, enter your full name, email address and email password. Click Continue. or #2 To begin, click on the Mail -> Add Account... menu. On this screen, you will be asked about the type of account you will be adding to the application. Select the last option - Add Other Mail Account...Continue button. Now, simply add your name, email address and the password for it. ++++++++++++++++++++ Edited to add As a quick alternative, just start your browser (Safari), go to and log into gmail, compose a new message and then add the photo as an attachment. You'll need to know the location of the photo on the PC to do that and you probably can do a drag and drop for attaching it.
