Click to enlarge then close by clicking File and Exit. Works for some folks. If not use the second method.

Open the page, place the cursor over the top title bar and then hold down the left mouse button and drag the page to the top left or right corner. Release the mouse button. Go diagonally to the other corner at the bottom of the page and when you are right over the corner your mouse pointer becomes 2 headed and angled at 45 degrees. At this point again hold the left mouse button and drag to the bottom corner of your screen. Release mouse, click File, click Exit. That should do it.

Let us know if it works please.

The thing that worries me about Ceanothus (I have been checking too for a similiar situation and am in South Riv. County)is that I have read they like a more well draining soil. I am thinking a mixed shrub border. It is more interesting and you can create seasonal interest that way also. The Lemonade Berry sounds interesting to me, as well as Toyon, Coffeeberry, and Manzanitas. As width is not a problem, maybe you could mix in some small trees and vary the heights. 'Wonderful' Pomegranate would be a nice tree. The Orange Honeysuckle (sorry the name is slipping my mind and I just bought one!) or Carolina Jessamine, both would probably do well growing on the fence and are a good contrast. If you lean towards Pinks, Burgundys.. Cistus does great. How about Western Redbud or Crape Myrtle? Arbutus Unedo is a small tree that also I think would work in that situation. I am just researching too, so I apologize if some of my suggestions are not quite right.. If others disagree with some of them, I also would be interested.

lawmar their are servile things you can do. Hold down on the CTRL Key and roll the wheel on your mouse. For a Resolution change. Right click your empty desktop screen - properties - Settings Tab - move the slider bar until it reads 800 X 600 - Click Apply - OK If your using Firefox go to the Toolbar - View - Text size - Increase. For IE6 - Go to View - Text Size - Larger or Largest OR do what Mikie said in your other post.

Thank you all. I will give all a try after the holiday. Will be out of town for a few days. Will take the netbook with me and I'll see how it runs with my daughter's wireless. The only thing which I changed a month or so ago was to try to network the netbook to my desktop. I wanted to be able to print wireless. My printer is hooked to the desktop and the netbook travels around the house. I wanted to print up recipes. I looked for directions on the web and I know I had to allow file sharing and whatever it said. Never worked and I can't get the netbook to send to my printer. Possible those changes are messing things up. I'll have to look for those directions to undo them. Both computers are having this problem, my other two computers do not. Suspicious. But this just started about a week ago so I'm doubtful. I'll give IE a try when I get home. Thanks again, Jane

is this a monitor you just added and now are having this problem or did this suddenly happen on a monitor you have been using? It sounds like the resolution is not set to the proper size for the monitor, look at your monitor info and find out what the preferred resolution setting should be, then go into your settings area and set the resolution slider so it corresponds with the preferred settings for that size monitor. Right click on desktop choose properties then the tab for the screen. If you tell us the model of the monitor and more info on it we could look it up and find the proper resolution setting for it.

Do some sites program stuff to NOT open in full screen.

Example: go to nytimes.com and open an article, and double-click on almost any word and it gives a dictionary definition of the word in a window in the upper left. This new window is smaller than the definition of the word and must be resized to read. The new window is completely re-sizable and movable. But, it must be resized each time it is opened.
