Comments (2)Depends on the slope of the ceiling. I used gimbal trims that have 30 degree tilt. What's the lumen rating on those LEDs? You might be disappointed with how little light they put out compared to a PAR30 75 watt in a gimbal 5" trim. Of course the halogens will use more energy but not nearly enough to justify what your going to spend more for LED. In a few years I bet LED bulbs will be cheap and it will pay to replace the halogens....See MoreCeiling Fan Asymmterical Vault Ceiling- Boring thread but needed!
Comments (2)Not sure I see the logic here. Using a moving fan to keep the heat down also makes you feel cooler because of the moving air over your skin. Have you considered installing electric baseboard heat, or having the registers re-done?...See MoreAwkward Vaulted Ceiling
Comments (1)First things first. Remove the crown moulding from the ceiling. Vaulted ceilings look WEIRD with crown, it looks like a racing stripe. Have a look in Houzz, you won't find many vaulted ceilings with crown. You have a big wall with a small console. Replace the console with one that fits the wall better and centre it. You can add lamps on either end or hang art on either side of the tv or push the tv to one side and add art to the other side. Remove the stars completely or move them down, they are hung too high. They should be just above the tv, not in the middle between tv and ceiling....See MoreHave an entry wanting to trim but with an angled vaulted ceiling. Help
Comments (13)The accessories were arranged incorrectly on your wall. The curved object it best placed next to the angled ceiling so it works visually. Looks like you added the barn board to get the white clock to show up on the wall but that just added to the visual clutter. Just paint the clock and 86 the barn board. The columns don't need any more detailing. Center your table under the chandelier and pull that overly large fake plant out of the dining room. Replace with some art or wall decor on the large wall....See Morejoyceloveswater
