For the trim color I like the lighter one better. Seems to work with the brick more. Personally I don't think the green works with your house, but that's just me. I would probably look more towards a taupe on the siding. Regardless, once you've removed the shutters don't reinstall them. They are much too narrow to work with the windows. I would also paint the garage door the same color as the siding. I would not paint the brick. You take a no maintenance product and turn it into a long term maintenance issue. Okay so I looked at theis style and your house is going to need a lot of work I would not paint the stone I would have it removed or covered and if at all possible that whole thing at the front with the columns and jug and round window should be removed. Your house photo is very flattering to your brick, maybe you should add another photo showing a closeup. I do like Houssaon's change of a deeper trim color, it really helps soften everything. A charcoal roof would look great too with his choice. This is a bit messy, I did it on the Sherwin Williams Visualizer. I have added some other photos from Houzz, I entered a search for painted brick exterior and chose the traditional tab. To help yourself, I would avoid looking at other styles of homes, work with the style you have, especially if the major components are not changing. I don't think color blocking would suit your home. My son is investigating brick stain, his brick is head shaking awful. He's looking at brick stains, mineral paints specifically for brick so it can continue to breathe, and Romabio. We're in Canada, so some choices are limited. The last thing you want to do is stop your masonry from breathing, you could consult a mason for an opinion too.
